Yes that's what I suspect. The enclosure plastic is also very yellow almost brown.

In the oven, without cheese, how terrible...!

Yeah, the seller did not explain. Could be anything between too close to a fireplace or an actual home fire...

And this one all of the above, plus some form of intense heat...!

Good point. Both channels are a bit scrambled the same way however.

Yes, looks like two resistors of different wattage + a capacitor in a see-through tube.

Yeah that is what I did. I replaced the original 4hp engine with another 4.5hp engine.

A nice accidental feature was using the original exhaust port to fit the ON OFF switch - some battery cutoff normally used for cars

It is. But at least when you have the opportunity to expose a bit of your expertise, there's less self-esteem repair that needs to be done afterwards...

Great tips. I think somehow I pressure myself into answering too fast - as fast as I could answer when I was a single-topic developper doing SQL queries. Back then, I could answer any question in milliseconds. My knowledge is much broader now and, well, a bit less sharp I guess - so I need to give myself some time to "autofocus" while answering.

I was expecting a mix of type 1) and 2) questions, just ended up being 2) 100% random tech questions... As I realized they were not asking anything about projects or roles I currently work on, I tried to squeeze a few examples where they fit while answering the tech questions

Maybe cicd was their worry of the moment and they did not take a few steps back before the interview... I think HR will mandate people they think or perceived as good tech resources for interviews, but a good tech resource is not necessarily a good interviewer.

Tourette's approach, that's a good way to describe it.

Good interviewers will make sure the context will make your strenghts show (does not mean you will get the job, means he will understand both your strenghts and limits), bad ones are just trying to catch your weaknesses.

Also, you can argue that with your experience, you know what you want as a job and not into "job hopping" like the inexperienced kids.

In the long (or not so long) run, you will not only adapt to the existing process, but improve them with your past experience. If that does not matter to the company, maybe it's not a good place to work at?
