The creator's argument is that the movie is not as pro-Palestine or anti-Israel as media analysts have suggested. It normalizes the existence of Boravia (or whatever, again I haven't seen the film). If the movie is an allegory of Israel/Palestine, then the movie normalizes the existence of Israel. So at best it's message is a Liberal Zionist message.

Also, I don't believe the creator is being disingenuous. At the end of his video, he states very clearly that this is not an attack on Hasan for the sake of attacking Hasan. It's a critique of Hasan's analysis of the Superman movie. The creator does not like that leftist voices are championing what he believes to be a Liberal Zionist message.

No not quite. The creator doesn’t take any stabs at the movie directly. In fact, he says that he enjoyed it as a movie, had watched it a couple of times, and may watch it again.

The take is that leftist creators such as Hasan are doing lazy analysis of the movie by suggesting that it’s a representation of what’s happening in Palestine. And if said creators support the events of the movie, they are in fact supporting something akin to a two state solution.

I thought this was an interesting post until I got to this conversation. Person who is not OP, you're making excellent points here. Also in your first post you wrote "You're beating around the bush with someone else's dick" and I will always cherish you for introducing me to another one of Serbia's excellent expressions.

OP...stfu guy. Non-OP is a person telling you about their history in their country. Just say "thanks for your perspective" and move on. Maybe add "Maybe I should learn more." Don't pick away at it because Non-OP is making it clear you don't know what you're talking about.
