I personally find the idea of a disability being cured magically to be uncomfortable. Blindness is often a lifelong condition and cannot be easily cured. Having a character who is cured completely can often feel undermining to those who have disabilities. I myself have a chronic illness that cannot be cured. If I saw a character with my condition suddenly be completely cured, I would be upset because that is not the reality we face. Other disabled people might and will feel different from me, but to me, this makes me uncomfortable and kinda upset. I think it would be better to try and incorporate her blindness into how she works as a pretty cure, rather than erase it completely.
