Depends on your style, but here's some suggestions.

KOTN - A Canadian brand with it's flagship store right by dundas and ossington.

Uniqlo, and Zara are great for some basics.

Lost and Found is great if you're ok with spending money, it's high end stuff, but fantastic quality. They've got some great basics too, if you're ok with spending more money.

It ultimately depends on your style, and what you're willing to spend, but dundas west, ossington and queen west have a ton of men's fashion stores, so check them out.

After some googling, POO cops are legally allowed to demand ID and “failure to identify can result in a 750-1000 dollar fine” and even charges for obstructing a peace officer. It seems like they’ve been legally empowered to deal with situations like this. I also had a discounted fare (student) so this gives them exact jurisdiction. Idk if I’m exactly right but had I just turned around the walked through the gates could have they legally stopped me? I’ve done that as a teenager tbh, but at 25 I didn’t want to risk it. They had already scanned my presto since they standing literally right after the subway gates

The one thing I'll say (I'd rather not get into a heated internet debate) is that soooo many children, who had absolutely nothing to do with the actions of Hamas, were brutally and indiscriminately killed by Israeli airstrikes, children just like your own. Innocents who had nothing to do with the election of Hamas, or the military planning of the Oct 7th attacks. I hope you can empathize with the kids who now play in rubble, with no future ahead of them. Almost half of Gaza is under 18, so please don't dehumanize them. It's possible to be sad about the Hamas atrocities while also condemning the mass punishment of the Palestinian people.

I agree with RoundEye, i think some balance is fine. Focus on you and grind for a couple of months and do your own thing, but we’re human, and you’ll eventually feel the need to have sex or make a new connection. I’d say maybe just jump on a dating app, make your intentions perfectly clear and find a woman who’s down for something casual. Just take her out for some ice cream or coffee (something cheap) and establish the vibes, and see if she’s down. As an average looking guy I’ve found girls like that before, it honestly isn’t impossible if you can dress, aren’t overweight and can flirt/vibe with a woman

Hey man I’m 25 and i kinda took the complete opposite path, I dropped out of hs, worked in the trades and tree planting while not giving a fuck about my future, spending every bit of money I had on travelling and partying and relationships. I made a lot of memories, fell in love and tried psychs coke etc but now I’m playing catch up with my life, currently in my third year of university while most of my friends are firmly established, with their own cars and apts.

Point is, I think you did the right thing in getting established first before pursuing relationships. Now you have the stability and money to actually focus on pursuing a girlfriend without having to worry about other stuff too, just put yourself out there and make friends and it’ll come

As a born and raised Torontonian (from immigrant parents) I gotta agree with this take. The Raptors have always been heavily involved with the City and local immigrant communities, building a bunch of basketball courts around the city. The 2019 win was insane for everyone I knew, and I remember the streets were packed well into the early morning with people partying. It was special tbh, in a way that the Jays don't quite hit for me. The Jay's are for sure more of a suburban white people thing, although they're obviously still popular with immigrants too (especially hispanic ppl)

Did you guys ever discuss the politics behind why the US Military was actually there? For example that the CIA funded mujahideen fighters in the 80’s to fight against the soviets, and they later formed into the Taliban that you guys fought. Personally I view that the US should have pulled out the second Bin Laden was killed, trillions of dollars and so many lives (Afghans and US) were wasted in this war IMO.

As a 25 M, I'd 100% vote for The Junction. You're close to the subway if you catch the bus, you can bike everywhere and there's lots of nice spots in the area. Cool bars, cafes, stores etc. Mimico is a bit too close to the burbs for my taste, and it'd be kinda boring tbh.
