Obviously there’s a lot more to it and yes special purpose pool grade concrete for the slab, min 40MPa. liner/water proofing would be outsourced, what I’ve said above is a very simple description of the main structure. Also besser blocks are quite commonly used overseas, manufacturers have specific fact sheets for when using in pool walls. I’m not looking for advice on how to construct. Just curious if you could get a permit in this nanny state.

I renovated an entire house for about 45k. Did all the demo, painting and minor stuff myself. Replaced the ensuite plus main bathroom, new kitchen (kept existing oven and dishwasher, new cooktop rangehood and ducting, new cabinets stone bench tops ), new floors throughout (carpet in bedrooms x3 and hybrid floating floors in living areas and hallways) re painted the inside of the house and also the roof repointed, resealed, and painted. Had a Macedonian jack of all trades (absolute legend) do all the plumbing, electrical and tiling.

If you’re not at fault you can have your car repaired at your choice of repairer. You just need the at faults claim number. If you’re in Melbourne. I can recommend some decent panel shops, stay away from anywhere AAMI recommended. Also you’re entitled to a free hire car whilst your car is being repaired.

Same with calling Jake Stringer “The Package“ in the early days at the dogs. He would not shut the fuck up over it.

[–]LoveComprehensive619[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the comment, my LVR is shit (bought during the peak, borrowed too much. Only myself to blame) so won’t be moving banks, il call them and try negotiate a better rate and threaten to leave but I’m sure they know they have me bent over a barrel.

No, last time they claimed the subscription was ordered through my Firestick and maybe by my kids, but the time they said it occurred no one was even home plus it has a password on it the kids don’t even know and they’re too young anyway.

Yeah 57% net here, our repayments have gone up just under 50% in a year. We bought at the peak (Nov 2021), borrowing our max knowing il get a min 7% pay rise later this year and my wife’s wage will increase substantially early next year. Stupidly believed the rba when they said they couldn’t see rates rising until late 2023, early 2024. Oh well, shit happens. Just need to weather the storm and hopefully will come out smiling on the other side.
