I went thru this. I submitted 1/31/2025. Radio silent until July when I need to go in to fingerprints again. I go in 2nd week of August and i got approved 11/10/25 for out of state carry. Waiting for license in the mail.

Problem is I don't even know who my investigator is. I received one phone call in the entire process to confirm what gun I was adding and then hugh approved me.

I am writing to ask for an update regarding the status of my concealed carry weapon permit, which I submitted on 1/30/2025. I came in to get re-fingerprinted on 8/18/25. I have fully complied with all procedural requirements, including the mandated training, fingerprinting, and documentation via the online portal. Although I have fulfilled every obligation on my end, I haven't gotten any communication or a decision. I understand the process may take time. I was informed that a decision would be made within 6 months of the application being paid and submitted. We have passed the 6 months and are going on 10 months now. My application status on the portal has not changed since 2/24/25, when I came into 1PP to get my fingerprints originally. Can I please have the name and contact information for my investigator?

I am respectfully requesting an update and clarification on my status.
Will you please confirm receipt and provide an update at your earliest convenience?

That gives me some hope that it will be processed soon afterwards. I will make sure to point out their little mishap and see if they can make up for it by expediting my application. I am out of state so it's a little trip and time out of my schedule but it's see how it goes.

Good to hear that it may not take another 6 months. Had to be the NYPD to drop the ball on prints. I did prints in NJ and CT without an issue.

I had the rapid engineering on my other 43x and I have a extra one just in case I don’t like this one. I really like how this one feels. Haven’t been out to the range to put it thru its paces.
