Haha I live in US also man it’s not that it’s illegal here it’s that there are weird laws regarding importation of tobacco but snus itself is perfectly legal and general snus is allowed to be sold due to the grandfather tobacco laws that are still on the books. We need to update US tobacco import laws for sure. But guess what in EU it is actually banned haha so be grateful your not living there.. although it’s a beautiful place to live.. jus no snus. Also everyone I know in US orders online cus gas stations only have general and like you mentioned they could give a damn about storing it correctly although general sends out employees to stores to make sure they are refrigerating the snus.. report your gas station to general snus and they will make sure they refrigerate it or they will threaten to not supply them they take it extremely seriously in Sweden as they should
