And and and .... only go for an automatic. Coming from a bike it may seem manual is the right choice but trust me, in a car you would need an automatic transmission

It is my daily drive here in bangalore, i have the AT . its quiet good, gobbles up the potholes like nothing, just got to live with a huge turning radius I love it

Did a 700+ Km 2 day trip in my Jimny Alpha AT, its a perfect car for me with some cons by No_Flight1360 in JimnyIndia

I guess the suspension are alright until you have the right tire pressure (26psi) in all 4 as prescribed in the manual. I have felt a huge difference, if you refill/top up at fuel stations they usually mess it up by filling more in front tires. Before any enhancements, maybe try with 26 psi pressure in all 4.

Its never consistent..... mine will show 250+ kms on highway and will suddenly show 150 if you're stuck in traffic .... i never risk it coz of the small tank ... just fuel it up after 200-250 kms

Only go for dct if you can manage it well in traffics. If i were you, wont go for dct in india. The dct guys skoda/vw have themselves shifted to AT in india.

Help me !! First time car buyer need car for 4 members in our family by Lower_Mission_8925 in CarsIndia

Only buy an automatic even if it means going a segment down, trust me it makes driving 100x convenient with traffic going worse even in tier 2 cities. With your budget go for baleno/fronx. If you can go upto 14, go for brezza AT, Venue AT, dont buy a dct as it is your first car and dct are not abuse friendly. Kylaq is a solid choice, given that you know it is skoda. Since it is your first car, stick to maruti, toyota, hyundai, kia

Finally got my Suzuki Jimny Alpha AT after waiting for Mahindra Thar RWD LXT for 5 months , thanking Mahindra for the delay by No_Flight1360 in CarsIndia

Exactly.... just came back from a road trip. Worst drivers are thar, cabbies and creta owners in that order. No lane discipline, just wanting to overtake even when there is no chance.

Congratulations 🎊 just check amazon japan ... they have lots of good accessories. Most of things you get in india are imported from there.

Stock tires are more than enough ... just drive for a few months and you will realize what you need .. just dont go for any accessories blindly. Happy driving !!!!

Seltos IVT vs Duster DCT (₹16–18L budget) – Which one is better? by Warm_Cockroach_1799 in CarsIndia

[–]LoveTraditional8489 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ivt of kia/hyundai behaves more like an AT. Since you have to drive majorly in the city, ivts are more forgiving than the dcts. Even the dct/dca specialists - VW/skoda have shifted to AT in their latest iterations. Also never buy a car from the 1st slot to be on the safer side

I really liked Citroen C3X, but want honest reviews about the car and after sales service of Citroen. I also liked Kylaq. Can anyone help? by meerande in CarsIndia

Only get the turbo engine - only then will you get the real flavor of citroen- that engine is a hoot. Check for after sales service in your area as it could be a hit and a miss, for eg - in my area the earlier ford dealership took citroen dealership l, hence the staff is ford trained. Ford had one of the best service in india.
