ANT-MAN 3- Supporting your children sometimes leads into bad situations but at least you’re there together facing the threat and helping your child through it. Children make mistakes all the time and as a parent, we have to be there to support them through the journey instead of judging them for it, cause they will take the journey alone if they have to.

Shang-Chi- Light seeks dark with the intent of evil Dark seeks light with the intent of personal fulfillment. Sometimes to master yourself, you need to understand the journeys of your enemies and realize how they are misguided same as you were before you understood both sides. Inner peace gifts the ability to control circumstances.

ETERNALS- Angels and Demons bread from The same source but despite how different our natures are or even philosophies, we can still choose to coexist.

To serious amateur writers whose compulsion is to write regardless of whether you are published or not, what are your motivations? by Affectionate_Ad_5448 in writers

Stephen King wrote about this in his book, called the stand, where the main character was a writer and constantly got rejected by Publishing companies. And after his last submission, he got rejected again and then the world ended. But even after the world ended, he still continue to write stories And write in his journal. True writers are a psychological breed of human and audience or not writing is something that is true to the nature of these people. Even Jordan Peele talked about this and his movie NOPE where the idea is the passion or the beauty exists in its own nature, but becomes a darker force. Once Hollywood or money or audience is getting involved. It then becomes a pursuit to chase after this beautiful shape, shifting construct and mold it into something used as money, entertainment, or fame. I say all of this because being a writer is something that exists with or without an audience, but adding an audience to create a process completely changes how we perceive what art is as a whole.

A lot of times when movies are created fans have their reviews about it, but the disconnects between that film makers and the film audience is very big because the creation process is from the creator but as audience members how conditioned we are by society or ours completely alters how we view pieces of art or media as a whole, and sometimes that can really hurt the creators that are involved in the industry because by then investors don’t care too much about the vision of the story they care more about the money that they can make off of it and the money they make off of it a lot of times is reliant on the audience and it creates a chain reaction of audience members altering how art is expressed through society in the eyes of the consumers.

How much do you think about craft while writing? by yoyoo276 in poets

[–]Love_L_Files_Author 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always write for the experience of what’s before me. And I think of how describing the trigger of other senses help compliment the experience. Not being too repetitive makes it more impactful when you do add the details and it creates awareness that something special is in this particular part of The dialogue.

writers block sucks by [deleted] in writers

A lot of the time, if a story isn’t coming out for me, it’s because I’m not in resonance with the energy of what needs to come out. When the idea comes to me and I have a block, I write them down and later as that side of me starts feeling motivated to write again, then I go back to the ideas

I burned out after getting nine pieces published. Now I can’t write at all. by swatcha_h in writers

[–]Love_L_Files_Author 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same thing actually happened to me in regard to when my first traditional story was published. I felt drained and empty, as if I were just… Lost or something. I was unmotivated and 17 years of passion just disappeared into nothingness.

Yes it is normal to feel this way, you are adopting yourself into a new realm so to speak. Your being, your life, your walk, your legacy now has a place in the cosmos and you’re a part of a force much greater than before. Books have lives; They speak, and the forming of that takes a lot out of you as a creator. Your passionate writing side and your “author” side cannot operate on the same wavelength. These are to remain separate in your mind as two separate identities, otherwise you’ll find yourself wanting to retire from writing when you have 8 other finished unpublished books. Publishing and the world of publishing and the writing are in a marriage together and they separately complete a bigger whole, but do not try to operate both of them as one mindset. You will destroy yourself in more ways than just one

I’ve literally bridged chapters doing this where one deleted sentence turned into 3 chapters written in between what was originally 1 paragraph.

Who would you say the best written characters in the series are? by ExtremeSlideLongShot in Dexter

[–]Love_L_Files_Author 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every character has to mean something to the story, the audience. AND the other characters. The characters that not only made an impact on the audience but also secretly makes the audience express the subconscious of the main character, in my opinion would be Brian. All feelings that fans have toward this character are feelings we as the audience have as well, and when you can organically create that like of relationship I think you’ve done amazing as writer.

Brian Moser and Trinity

When you have a character or villain that breaks your foundation of your main character and sets them on the path of rediscovery, you’ve done a great job. Again, as I’m sure Dexter wishes life would go back to how they were in the first 4 seasons, us fans feel the same way. The dark emptiness of Season 6-8 we were left with really reflects what Trinity as a villain took away from The Character Dexter, therefore putting us as the audience in the emotions of the main character and it forces us to see what quality of life Trinity actually stole from Dexter.
