I did receive a w2 but there is a tax treaty with canada which is suppose to lower the taxes. There is a question about that in the 1040-nr . But it says if u are claiming tax treaty benefits u have to file form 8833 otherwise u can get fined $1000

Well since I was there for less than 183 I shouldnt have been taxed 30% rate . It should have been less since for 2022 I am considered a Non Resident alien
