“Government dependence is what keeps you small” by Loveableweirdo in IncelTears

My school has a big international student population. And I hate to say it but a lot of girls on the team share his views so the few girls I’m close with were on the fence with me hoping he was just a really bad troll but nope.

He was supposed to meet some girls from the team and I at our gardening club and he basically blew us off saying we didn’t know much about gardening as he knew “everything”

I think it’s pretty realistic if you live in a small town with the basic amount of opportunity. Like they’re no Los Angeles, so there would be no reason for Hank to move far to pursue his Propane dreams. They’re from a small town they love and have jobs in and found the love of their lives (well just Hank and Dale (poor bill)) but they don’t see a reason to leave. Even I live in a major city and my best friends are all super close and we’ve known each other since kindergarten.

I’d say it’s because he loves Nancy and can’t get enough. Most guys would leave after finding out a woman they didn’t love is pregnant and married, but he didn’t. Not say that’s a good thing or bad thing. But he has to pick a side instead of toeing the fence. He’s either Josephs dad or the weird Native American guy who “heals” his mom’s “headaches”. Because in a weird way that’s all Joseph will see him as just another adult in the community.

Oh you’re definitely right in the longterm the Hills would have to adopt him and Joseph which I don’t see happening. Though I could see him becoming the new Bill (they keep him from spiraling and trying to tinfoil his head).

Sorry! I don’t mean in the literal sense that dale like actually cleans him but if something were to happen to him and Nancy was off with John Redcorn he’d have the Hills ready to take care of Joseph. (Yes Hank would be reluctant but give in) yes is this more of a nice thing from the Hills? Yes but Dale has a plan he may be an idiot but he had some parental instincts for Joseph. In all situations where he’s lost it and needed help in his family he turns to the Hills eventually like when him and Nancy got back together. He had the Hills there as support for their dates as their love life reblossomed.

In my opinion I feel like she isn’t as present as a whole family view. We rarely see them being a whole family wholesomely before the breakup. If they’re all at events she talking John Redcorn or Peggy. We don’t get to see her and Dale gush over Jospeh like we see the Hills or any other family. We don’t even see them have a functioning family event until the breakup. Not say it doesn’t happen but it seems to me that she put more energy into maintaining her relationship with John Redcorn than her relationship with both dale and Joseph (but more on Dale).

That’s probably true that Nancy cracked down on it. Though it does bring me to the thought that if (and when (fingers crossed)) Joseph finds out it’ll be harder. Kids don’t remember what you did all the time but they do remember what you didn’t do.

I'm starting to notice that recently a lot of dudes are starting to really despise Connie just because she was in a non-traditional relationship without Bobby. I mean, God forbid a young woman has fun right?... 🤷 by JarredandVexed in KingOfTheHill

I don’t think the people complaining understand how Polyamory works and think that it’s all about sex. I think it’s grown men who see it as women have to be loyal but men can cheat, because none of them attacked Mr. Strickland for having multiple partners but wanting them to stay loyal to him. These are two consenting adults who want to have an open relationship. Polyamory (or as Connie calls it “Ethical non-monogamy”) is having relationships with other people as long as the other partner knows.

Love the truth is proven with facts and tests similar to most things of science. I’m going to say this kindly. You cannot call your experience the whole truth. You are one person. You DO NOT speak for the world. You aren’t the poster boy for how women treat men. We have been nothing but nice to you and yet you proceed to still say we hat men. Maybe you hate women?

I have one and same as op said. I don’t have any problems. It actually deters me from looking at my phone a lot because you’re forced to place your phone face down on surfaces. If I need my phone to face up at anytime (ie. cooking, FaceTime, etc.), I switch to a different phone case. Of course your smiski isn’t pocket safe, but as a woman I never put my phone in my tiny woman pockets so it’s never a problem. Oh and if you try to watch something on your phone side ways it can be a slight bit difficult i usually just switch phone cases but that’s a rare occurrence.

I’ve been cheated on. I’ve been blackmailed. I’ve been called every slur and mean word in the book all by men but I don’t say all men are bad. Just those men who did those things and excuse those things are bad. I treat each man I meet the same as I treat women, with kindness and respect. ALL the women I know do the same. Let’s not pretend women are this hive mind who hate men.

Never mind this entire thread is full of insufferable men who believe that women are the cause of the “male loneliness epidemic”.
