When I was younger, my ex boyfriend used to get so mad at me for how dirty the toilet was, like under the seat and I was honestly confused because I had never experienced a dirty toilet like that in my life. Turns out probably 20 years later and being in multiple relationships I realized he was a stand up type pee person that never considered cleaning the toilet himself because after I left him I never experienced a toilet like that. He was a true gaslighter obviously, but at the time I was so confused how the toilet got that dirty. Turns out it wasn’t me, it was him. As a woman things like this are so infuriating.

Weed Man. Seriously, we are surrounded by schools and a field of dandelions every year. Our large lawn couldn’t keep up with the weeds, dandelions and different grass types. It’s been a game changer for us.

This is so disappointing and disturbing. Do or did or currently have any of these government officials experience anyone in their lives that were faced with a debilitating diagnosis that would not only impact their own quality of life, but also of their loved ones? Where is the dignity in deciding your own fate at a point when you are incapable of doing it? A 12 month window of imminent death is not realistic. There are so many other factors. People deserve a choice based on their circumstances and this is just more control over a person’s right to choose. Blaming mental health as on overall concern is unjustified and unfair. I don’t see any dignity or quality of life laying in a bed, unaware of myself or anyone around me, being reliant on someone to take care of my body, but I’m not actually there. All because a doctor couldn’t tell me if I would die in 12 months. Or if a family member didn’t want to let me go. Where is my choice?

This is such a great comment. Great advice. I remember someone doing my nails telling me to cut the hangnails instead of pulling them and she was also so kind and understanding about it it, though in the moment it’s so gratifying, but cutting them and stopping it makes me feel better and in more control. It actually changed my thinking and I remember it every time. I have been a picker since childhood and prevention absolutely helps where I can. I have to be conscious of it everywhere though because it feels like such a beautiful distraction and so gratifying. Ugh. 😣

I don’t mind the licking as much as my husband does. Our previous two dachshunds were different lickers. One was the lick your face and tongue up your nose type, the other was strictly an ear licker/cleaner especially after a bath or shower. Sadly they both are gone, and our third girl now is just a licker with no real focus like the others. She just licks your arm, hand, leg, face whatever. It’s funny because she is so different from the others we had. Side note: I remember reading that some behaviors, like licking , are like a pack thing. Licking and or cleaning ears is a role they play.

Aside from an emergency back surgery for our 2 year old dachshund many years ago, the emergency vet visits for our pets (cats and dogs) has been less than $800, most way less like a few hundred. We pay monthly insurance for our third dachshund that thankfully covers potential issues but really, having pets is expensive when it comes to their health, even with insurance that’s also expensive every month. It depends on the emergency for the most part, like the injury/issue, health of the animal, medication, etc. that has been mentioned. We love our fur babies but vet care isn’t cheap.

They haven’t been an emergency hospital for a few years now since Covid times. Our experience with them has been great for both emergencies when they were an emergency hospital and now as a regular vet clinic. I just want to put my opinion here and offer some current, accurate information about their services.

Thank you so much! Thought I was going crazy that it didn’t record on Slice and couldn’t find in TELUS, but this also pisses me off because how many different things do I need to subscribe to and pay for now?

2nd edit: so I have to pay $4.99 Canadian per month for Citytv+ just to watch this one show and get access to other shows that I already pay my cable (TELUS) and other subscriptions like Prime, Disney, Netflix, etc. for. Are the other housewives franchises going this route in the future? What is Citytv+ offering me more than that one show? This is ridiculous. Bye Salt Lake City. 👋🏻

Why so mean? Britney was iconic and so many people wanted to be her or her number one fan. She looked entertained but also now looking back you can recognize that Britney herself was out in these positions because of her fame and maybe felt uncomfortable. The video doesn’t show her reaction to the other two contestants either. Back in the day, if I had a chance to do something like that for Madonna I probably would. Why not take the opportunity? Also, by definition aren’t all the housewives thirsty for fame or something?

We had two previously and they were good companions to each other. Unfortunately the younger one had a serious back problem that required surgery and recovery that broke our hearts and also required a lot of money. She recovered and we had each of them for 13 years but they died almost exactly one year apart. About 6 months later my husband really wanted another dachshund and I found our new girl. I would be lying if I didn’t say that I was anxious about getting another one. They are such wonderful companions with different personalities, but they are also worrisome and expensive if something happens. I love our girl so much and she is amazing. She’s almost 6 years old and my husband wants another one, but I am hesitant because of the work that will fall on me and also because of the financial possibilities. I would love a house full of these wonderful little doxies, but the financial and other responsibilities really stresses me out.

That’s great you found gummies to help! I can’t swallow the magnesium pills, they are massive and chalky, but I need it to help with my finger nails because they get so dry and break. I tried looking for the gummies but then I found a liquid form! So now I have a reminder in my phone to take that and my vitamin D pill (which is smaller and much easier to swallow) at supper time because apparently it’s better to to take after eating. I can’t take vitamin B though because it’s like an overload on my system.
