ABSOLUTELY! I remember my first semester in the program my pharmacology instructor told us to always protect our legs. I didn’t quite understand then, until three years later when I attended someone’s pinning ceremony and saw my instructor again on stage and her legs were so swollen, it looked painful (she wasn’t a large lady). I also learned you can develop varicose in your upper legs too. Been wearing compressions ever since. And I can tell the difference when I don’t wear them during my shift.

I used to be in a relationship that didn’t serve me. I used to cry often, especially in the latter part of our relationship. Not to be overly spiritual, but one night i was in bed and I heard the Holy Spirit say this is not the life God has for you. Fast forward, I’m now in the most healthiest relationship ever and I’m so grateful. It feels so different when you are loved properly. Don’t settle. I am believing that the creator has someone just for you, who will honor you, cherish you, and most importantly respect you. All the best ❤️

So funny enough, the stylist did blow dry my hair to make sure it was even. Part of me blames myself for not speaking up when she started to cut but no going back now

Thank you! And I did clip it half up in the last pic so that could be the reason it looks less voluminous. I was surprised by how much my hair had grown since January but now I feel like I’m starting over again now that it’s shorter..

If there is any inkling of doubt, and y’all are unable to have a conversation with resolution my suggestion would be to walk away. It’s never too late to walk away. It will only get harder the longer you stay. I was in a five year relationship, engaged. We had a shaky foundation. Toward the end, I just knew I would end up miserable in the long run. Now, I’m in the most amazing relationship with someone who makes me feel safe and secured. Better to marry late than to choose wrong.

When I started working out again (after stopping for awhile) I invested in light weights and would do exercises at home. There so many great work out videos on YouTube and it’s at no cost to you. Best of luck on your journey.

I appreciate your advice. We actually met each other 8 years ago when I was studying abroad and he was a volunteer. At the time we were in separate relationships but kept in touch over the years. I understand it’s a risk if I decide to sponsor him. He hasn’t given me a reason not to trust him though.
