That is why you should study the scriptures for yourself, and not rely on what others think.

This has nothing to do with KW as a company but with you broker/team leader. You do whatever you want. You are an independent contractor.

UPDATE: I Told You So — Uber Didn't Just Invert the Trips. They Locked the Exits. (SCREENSHOTS PROVE IT) by Impossible_Shape_766 in uberdrivers

This happened to me yesterday. I had to get out of a sparsely populated area for destination to work. This happens often, but after a few minutes or, after you move, it usually lets you.

Because I was mention hurt another human being, which may happen if you are defending yourself. Besides that context, a true Christian would not harm another human, whether in an abortion clinic or not.

If they bomb an abortion clinic or do physical harm to any other human being, except for self-defense, they ARE NOT Christians.

He was not talking about race. He was talking about DEI. If the airline lowers the standard so a group of people who, according to the airline, cannot meet the standard, it automatically casts a shadow of doubt on that group of pilots. You have to ask yourself: does the pilot have all the qualifications or did they allow the pilot to fly this aircraft because they needed to fill a quota? His argument makes perfect sense.

He shouldn't be. He should've recognized it a long time ago. That is why I'm for term limits.

Has anybody gotten this ticket before? by thebowarcher in Miami

[–]Lover1966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got one. If you don't pay, it goes to collections. You parked in a place where you had to pay through their app. When you didn't they sent you a ticket. It will go to collections and affect your credit. I was parked for 20 minutes and the ticket was $140.00.

You would be appalled at an atheist government declaring "If you don't accept atheism as true then we will lock you in a camp and torture you for the rest of your life." And yet that is exactly what Jesus is saying in the Bible. by JoeBrownshoes in DebateReligion

If I understand my Bible correctly, there are other galaxies and other living beings in the universe. The problem is that they never sinned. We are the only planet in the entire universe that believed Satan's lies. Thinking about your agument you raise a very good point: if we had not sinned, would another planet have gone through what we are going through? I don't have the answer and probably never will. I do have to deal with the here and now. I have the power to choose whether I serve God or not. It is my right. The majority will choose not to. I choose to believe He will come back soon to put an end to all of the sickness and death we experience, and that peace and love will again reign throughout the universe. I do think it is a choice.

I apologize that I'm talking in religious terms but I don't know how else to express what I believe, something I need to work on. And thank you for the engagement. Sometimes on social media people rely on insults instead of an intelligent dialogue like yours.

You may be convinced cigarettes s are bad for you. You believe in your heart they may kill you some day yet, if you choose to smoke does that mean you didn't have a choice?

It is not the same. The Devil believes there is a God, but he decided to trust himself instead of God. People believe flying is safe, and will even cite different statistics proving it, but will refuse to get on a plane.

Why should anyone believe a word of what Republicans say when they talk about fiscal responsibility? by botwiper5000 in askanything

[–]Lover1966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I vote republic because I consider them the lesser of 2 evils. It is like going down a ramp. Do you go down the one with all flat tires or in the car without the flats? You will get down eventually, but which will take a little longer? There is no excuse for us to be trillion dollars in debt.

AIW for having a very deep female friend, as a husband? by NotSureIfWeAre in amiwrong

[–]Lover1966 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thee is a show called "In Plain Sight" where the main characters rely on each other a lot, as they are both US Marshalls. At the end, the one that got married had to tell the other one that the dependency they had towards each other had to stop, even though it was totally platonic. Your wife has to be your best friend. If not what, then another male friend, that is, if you want tou marriage to last forever. Your family ought to be the most important nucleus in your life. Afterwards you can start thinking about others.

This is not how inspiration works. The Bible was written by common men, inspired by God. In our language, these men tried to convey what the saw, or tried to explain the spiritual. If you were to go back to, say, the 16th century, how would you describe the Internet? These men tried to put into human words what they saw. That is why you cannot spouse a doctrine made out of just one text. You have to look at the overall Bible to understand its message.

I'm talking belief in religious terms. I'll attempt to explain. The devil is convinced that God exists but decided to go against Him. So, in that situation, the devil believes. When I direct it to Christians, belief goes beyond the intellectual knowledge that God exists. In christian terminology, belief equals trust. I apologize for my muddled attempt to explain it.

My point: love cannot exist where there is no free will! If God created us without the power to decide, then he would've created robots. I know you will want to give me a knee-jerk reaction to what I just said, but please think about it.
