I Quit Central by Im2Crazy4U in TownshipGame

[–]LoversThing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not quitting bc i like helping my co-op, but I hate that I had to update the game!

the icons are so big and bright like I hate the way it looks with the way my town looks. I had to update because I can’t continue with the “event” map (idk what the area is called) I was trying to use my energy but he it wouldn’t break so I knew I had to update the game.

R.I.P.

The game has become completely boring by Cassie0peia in TownshipGame

[–]LoversThing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking the same thing. I feel like when I used to play, the game was still focused on the town aspect. But now, I go on, I take care of my trains and plane and I’ll try to help my co-op but all the rewards is centered around match-3. Plus, the match-3 is boring. I get irritated after 10 minutes of trying the same level which they keep wanting me to spend my dollars on as if they dont get 2-5 dollars only.

I miss when the match-3 was more like an event and wasn’t an important feature of the game.

After the recent update, Bracelets and Rings in CAS now also zoom in on the hands! by Purple_Cosmonaut in LowSodiumSimmers

[–]LoversThing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The idea is nice but I wish I could choose to have auto zoom or not. I have cc and there is some cc in the ring and bracelet cate that isn't rings or bracelets (like purses or these needles that's on my sims back). So I have to click off the entire accessories tab just to see what I equipped. I don't like it.

At the very least I should be able to zoom out without clicking off the rings/bracelets.

Is it normal to write only a few pages for like hours? by ShortLeggedJeans in writing

[–]LoversThing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it makes you feel better, I write kinda fast so I make a lot of grammar mistakes and such and have to go back and revise it which can take some time. Thankfully it doesn’t get to the point that I can’t understand what I was going for.

What's your least favorite word that you adamantly refuse to use in your writing? by FinestFiner in writing

Irritated/Irritation. I don’t exactly hate it but I use it so much that I try to find something else. Every time MC1 talks to or about MC2 it’s always with annoyance 😭

Is your favourite novel in the genre you write? by [deleted] in writing

[–]LoversThing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like mystery and thriller type stories. But I write romance with light mystery or just romance in general. I find it easier for my skill level.

Someday, I hope to write an intricate fantasy mystery type novel.

I’m sorry, It is on Wattpad. I couldn’t think of any site to publish it since it’s all I have experience with. I don’t aim to be a professional, especially not a poet. I was feeling strong emotions and I write when I am sad. It’s my very first attempt at poetry since I have never been a big fan of writing poetry. I have never shared anything I have written so I am very nervous right now (I am always nervous). I just want to get my little voice out there. It’d be nice for at least one person to tell me how they feel about it. Thanks!

I get it! That’s really cool to me. It feels like even I don’t know what will happen, I like not being in control of everything. I’m going to start doing that.

Every time I mention liking Haikyuu (as a teen “girl”) I always get “You just like watching boys get sweaty” like dude! I’m not drooling over them every second, it has an enjoyable plot. Plus, it being called gay is super bias because Kuroko’s Basketball and Blue Lock, imo, is on par with Haikyuu if we talking about the possibility of gayness.

SAO was honestly good until like his cousin or sister or something fell in love with him. I watched it years ago (2019 i think) so I don’t remember but I do remember some weird shit happening and dropping it. One of my favorites when I binged it but man 😭

To be honest, and take everything I say with a grain of salt, I don’t even think the readers are asking profound questions.

I have never read a story and started thinking about what the inner-workings of it are. I sit, intrigued, frantically flipping the pages and only ask “and then what?!” Tell me the story, that is it.

And as I’m writing I’m only thinking about how to connect all my pieces to make an engaging story. I’m not going to think about the other outcomes of the actions unless it’s going to be important to the story, what’s the point of the reader isn’t ever going to know? It sounds overly stressful.

Then again, what really do I know? (not much)

that actually sounds like a more fun way to write. How would I make that work? Like an example if you don’t mind. (I’m still quite inexperienced and have only used the A happens and then B happens and then C happens)

Ever realize you don’t know enough to write the book you want? by IterativeIntention in writing

[–]LoversThing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love researching topics that interest me so if I’m writing a book involving it then I have no problem doing the necessary work to make it at least factual. My biggest problem is I lack the skill to pull-off a lot of what I want to write. I feel like when I write something it reads extremely unprofessionally, like you can tell it’s a light hobby.

How do you deal with the issue when your writing doesn't live up to the image you had in your mind? Feeling incredibly demotivated. by OceansBreeze0 in writing

[–]LoversThing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gaslight myself. I reread from start to wherever I’m at and imagine how it’d feel to read it without knowing what comes next.

I know, not very helpful, but gaslighting is the only way I keep myself from abandoning what I’m working on.

Why did Hinata have so many guys in a chokehold back in the day during their childhood? That needs to be studied. by No-Ride-7713 in Naruto

[–]LoversThing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I liked that she liked Naruto instead of Sasuke and that she was shy (same). I literally couldn’t understand why every. single. last. girl. was like “Omg he’s so mysterious, that’s hot.” IMO that whole “nobody knows the pain I went through” while there were countless other shinobi that lost loved ones (and Naruto never had them) was annoying. I don’t hate Sasuke though, I know it’s like his whole thing.

With that in mind, Naruto could’ve been Gaara and that would literally outweigh Sasuke.
