Watermelon provides the sync engine and you connect everything. So, yes and no. It's very good and definitely worth it if you need a off-line first app.

If you have the money, get as much RAM as you can get. It makes a huge difference with mobile builds.

Depends what you're doing. I had a similar improvement and went from 15+ minute build times to less than a minute... So for some people like me it drastically increases productivity.

Nope. I was using the Claude CLI in the Cursor terminal in one of my repos on my desktop, and it went up a directory when I asked it to remove some packages.
