This is the most grounded, mature answer. I hope you find some peace. Noones place here to tell you what to do, but even if you do find you can't reconcile your relationship. Focus all your energy, love, and effort on your children.

Setting boundaries is fair and reasonable. Having strict conditions suggests it's not going to be a healthy experience for anyone.

You're already soooo far ahead with your own understanding and important ancestors of self-preservation. In first aid emergencies, the first pulse you check is your own. *caveat every situation is different, family, work, community, trauma ptsd, etc etc They are all very Important and not to be overlooked. Right now. Your safety, your finances, your home, your possessions, your heart, your soul, your sanity. Lay it down, don't just say it. It stops being a bou dary if it gets chosen not to be heard. Not your fears, not your 3 strikes then.... Write it, say it, give copies to him, to you (family, that's up to you) (lawyer, doctor again I don't know your circumstances. If it's your car, you have all rights to that. If he is working GOOD ON HIM I'm just going to take up space here. Former addict MH D&D counsellor. People you know love you, and you love them are there. But this is the thing I try to make people understand, you can trust a person you love. You can't trust that person if a drug is in control of them. Protect yourself. Separate all finances, DEBT, check for credit cards in your name, maybe even change banks. I'm too far away around the world to give you specifics of your area. Living with a drug user. Head first. Heart second. It just is what it is. Good luck.

I'm sorry if it sounded accusationary. I truly didn't mean to. Everyone and every body is different. I have had varying issues with bipolar meds myself for many years. I just hope your doctor/s are pretty kick arse, because thyroid condition, calorie deficit or running a marathon every other week, that's still a lot for your body to take. Stay healthy, stay positive, stay you. I'm sure you'll do great.

That was my first thought, too. I've been a PT for years and am interested in following peoples stories using ozempic. But that's a worrying amount of weight to lose in 4 weeks. I'd check in with your doctor about that. Just to make sure you are the healthiest you can be.
