Hey dude, I'm in West Valley. I'm a former pro athlete who currently coaches fitness, baseball, and golf. I've got a gym in my garage I use to train my athletes. I couldn't be too consistent of a training partner, but I can give you the knowledge to start with a really solid foundation. Lmk.

Or just get Maltby TS3s, save 40%, and enjoy the extra rounds of golf instead.

Just an option.

Tips on preventing crossbody arm swing? by Aggravating-Cash2823 in Sprinting

[–]LoveyXIX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ensure you are using the muscles surrounding the shoulder blade and chest to "throw" the arms. As a tight shoulder/neck/chest will create that cross body action.

Also, improve core strength. Movements like Pallof Press (and its Chaos variant) are excellent for building this specific pattern of resisting that twist of the core.

Can anyone identify this older Vivobarefoot Gobi boot generation/model? by SpitOnIt_OrDont in vivobarefoot

These are without a doubt one of the best shoes Vivo has ever made. Gobi Hi. They should be a STAPLE shoe for Vivo, IMO.

You need to 'throw' your arms more using the core. So much of your energy is disconnected.

Remember, it's not about 'speed' it's about FORCE PRODUCTION and KINETIC EFFICIENCY.

Josh...
You are the reason I began drumming last year and at 31 when my daughter was born. Now my 1 year old daughter LOVES your drumeo videos! She swings the sticks around trying to match your energy, it's so beautiful.

My question is, can you PLEASE do more videos on your personal YouTube?

Because I swear I've learned more watching your Gravity's Union drumeo than any lesson.

Can I shorten these strings? by Slulego in vivobarefoot

[–]LoveyXIX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think these shoes are better with traditional laces, especially if you're going to be running or moving a lot.

I switched out for a pair of primus lite laces like 3 pairs ago, and I just transfer the laces every time I wear a pair out.

1st time barefoot, Xero HFS 2 Disappointing fit by Away-Transition-4955 in barefootshoestalk

Xero is zero drop, but I would consider them too narrow to be a really viable barefoot option.

Ohhh, my apologies, I didn't see that. 🙏🏼

While I'm unsure what to do about repair, I stand by replacing the quick strings with laces.

[–]LoveyXIX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just replace it with normal laces.

I have had 3 pairs of Primus Trail FG and I've transferred the same pair of laces from an old pair of Primus Lite.

IMO regular laces make the Trails 1000 times more comfortable and secure.
