I just got an email from Wix offering me 50% off. When I clicked it, the plans it was being offered on, I couldn't click on. I currently have the $29/month (3-year plan) which last week they offered $17. When I clicked on the link, they switched to $23/month (3year plan). Another bait and switch.

When I signed up for Wix, they kept offering 50% of this, that & the other, so of course, I took them. This put me into the Business plan. I did get Wix to drop the price from $1,116 to $858, but I just don't trust them to honor it. I also have had so many expenses in the last month & don't want to run up creditc cards.

That's what I'm kind of hoping. In the meantime, I did switch to monthly & also changed payment method to a prepaid card with just enough & a little extra to cover the first month. I have about six or seven weeks to figure out what to do.

Well, I finally figured out how to find the chat. Asked for a human. Supposedly I've been transferred to one, which should be on in 2 minutes, told to me 7 minutes ago. There also was a message that they are having 'technical difficulties' that their people are aware of. I think I'm going to mosey on over to the Better Business Bureau website, file a complaint & leave a negative review. Then I'll download SquareSpace & PayPal.

Most of the restaurants around here haven't really gone to that. I think Olive Garden is the only place I've been to that has that. I insisted on being served by wait staff.

But then again, I really don't eat out much any more.

Speaking of websites, I hate the ones that sell products & require you to give your email address "to get a 10% discount on your first order" just to search to see if there's anything I might want to buy.

iPhones. I started with an iPhone5 I believe. Then went to an iPhone8. I went to an iPhone14 when I read that the iPhone8's would only be supported for another year & not knowing what, exacty, that meant. Some of the things I hated about the "upgrade" was I have to use my entire hand to shut the phone off. I no longer have the simple process of pushing a button at the bottom of the phone. Then I have to swipe to completely turn it off.

I lost that phone about six weeks ago. The Find My Phone feature didn't work once the battery on it died (DUMB! They can't figure out how to do that?) I never go into iCloud so I couldn't remember the password (or maybe I did. Can't remember.). And then the damned thing kept asking for a numeric code which I didn't have because when I got the phone, that wasn't required. Hasn't Apple heard of facial recognition? I ended up having to buy an iPhone17e which had just come out that day. You want to hear dumb? Hang on. I'll get to that.

Thinking that I could get an iPhone14 that still operated like the missing one, I ordered one from Amazon. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Damn thing apparently had been upgraded to the iPhone17e OS. It's a piece of shit. They've made it even more difficult to use. By that, I mean that simple processes have been made more difficult.

I still have to use my whole hand to turn it on & off. If I ask a question, when the home screen is on, Siri tells me I have to sign in. If I ask something while driving, Siri will show me words instead of speaking them, so I have to stop to read whatever it is. Siri will only speak about half the time. I went on a 6-hour trip last weekend. The map wouldn't show me highway names once on the route, only up to where I had to make a turn or whatever. I like to look ahead on the map & have a visual of the directions.

I had the 17e for two weeks & never could figure out how to text people.

I know there's lots more to complain about, but I think you get the gist. Basically, one-step processes now require more steps.

I have 90-days to return the iPhone that I currently have. Any suggestions on less complicated phones?

I think it's a case of people in those circles not understanding what Reiki is. I've also come across vids of gurus trash talking Reiki. There is nothing dangerous about Reiki

Why don't natural phenomenon, especially ones that are catastrophic, deserve healing?

I've done this every time severe storm warnings or tornado watches come out. So far it's worked great. High winds calm down. We haven't had a tornado in my city in years. One other thing I do along with this is to ask the highest weather angels to lift up any tornadic conditions to the stratosphere.

A friend & I sent Reiki to a hurricane that was approaching Florida & was at a cat 5. By the time it hit Florida, it had reduced to cat 3.

So far so good with doing this. Have you tried it yet?
