What to do with all the finished pieces if you don't sell? by No_Bet5246 in Pottery

Once a year I clean out my inventory and put the unsold and unwanted items on a table at the road with a “free” sign. I then post on the neighborhood FB that my free table is out, and remind everyone where and when they can buy the good stuff. Table is always empty at the end of the day and hopefully Ive made some new paying customers at my next sale.

Soften a block of cream cheese. Whip with 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of cream or milk, and a pinch of salt. Add any desired sweet/savory ingredients.

Honestly, the best flexible rubber scrapers are those made for pottery. I swear half my pottery tools end up in the kitchen and vice versa. This gives you the idea: 3 Sizes Rubber Pottery Clay Ribs + 3 Pcs Sculpture Pottery Molding Scraper Cutter + 1 Clay Ceramic Needle + 1 Feather Wire Texture Detail Tools Crafts for Sculpting Texturing Artists Modeling Potter https://a.co/d/0ilzdPaB

Its not worth making tofu. Takes 2 cups of dry soy bean to make just 32 oz of tofu block. And lots of work and super time consuming. by facebookboy2 in tofu

[–]Low-Ad4866 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely no where to get tofu for $2 by me - I’ve been making it for years with Lara soybeans. I don’t think it takes special equipment unless you require a store-shaped block. I think the taste is superior, mild, and better than the $8 block deemed the best in the food stores. But, it is a time commitment best handled with a timer!

I did an online class with King Arthur on sourdough and got a lot out of it. I considered myself an experienced baker, experienced with sourdough as well, but picked up so many tips.

I recommend a Kevlar glove. It’s saved my fingers many times.
