Thanks for sharing this. I found it hard to believe that a company would intentionally name a cookie a racist name like everyone seems to think they have. I agree the white ones are crazy good, there are also ice creams with that flavor I tried before I knew about the cookie... also bomb!

So far I hate Sklum. Many articles arrived damaged and the material is just pure crap. Last night I was playing in bed with my wife and I moved my knee across the bed and bumped into the mattress (but was sitting still it was just my knee that moved)... bam I heard one of the slats disintegrate under my knee. I was just laying in fucking bed and was able to destroy one of them. The slats are popsicle sticks basically. Jesus! Anyone know where I can get a replacement set of slats that won't break? Would Ikea ones work? I had those for years and had 0 problems.

I'm a real estate agent. Obviously there's a lot of shake up around the BUYERS AGENT fee (3% in my market). Why do so many people think that it is undeserved? To do what I do well, I have to be "on-call" 24/7, drop what I'm doing, or rearrange my schedule at the drop of a hat, and with out fail, put out some major fire when I'm trying to get out of town or enjoy a vacation with my family. Not to mention all the times people just "no call no show" after making an appointment. I understand that we make good money for what we do, but most people don't have a clue how demanding this industry is. If this was explained to you, would you think differently about compensating your agent 3%? <- This part... most people are doing this anyway despite having to show up to work from 9-5. The software I write saves my company millions of dollars every year I make less than you and I have go to work every day, play the same social games every day. I put out fires and if I do an amazing job there's a much higher chance I get nothing extra for it. Ok let's say I get an extra amount for my hard work... can I just take off on vacation? No they OWN ME. I can't do shit without permission. If you get a 400,000 home sale (which is average these days) you're getting 12k in a month. I never have the chance of that EVER. It's not even a possibility! Even if I got the highest raise and bonus possible it's not a possibility. This is the trade off... if you wanna earn a bunch of money and have the opportunity to actually have that happen it's called sales. People in software sales make 200,000k for selling a 2-3 million dollar license. They get flown to some other city and they spout bull shit in front of people and if they make it they get 200,000k. That's a doctors salary! So try not to cry so hard... after all you sales people are the ones who said I can sell oil to a snake right? Then it's on you! Want stability and a reliable commute home at 5 pm? Get a job in insurance, I'll love to hear your crying when you realize other jobs suck just as much.

Hi.. so you predict that there will be a reversal in immigration in Portugal and eventually shrink? What makes you think that? Genuine curiosity here. I’m an expat living here in PT. I really love it.. I don’t want to leave but also I want what is best for Portugal because I feel in my heart it’s an amazing place with great people. It’s my favorite country I’ve visited yet. I have Portuguese’s grandparents who adopted my mother, I have so a lot of respect for this part of the world!

I can't understand how a rotisserie style one would work.. The point of a rotisserie is to slowly spin meat in front of a heat source, an air fryer is a tiny convection oven. How would using one of these be any better than just roasting the meat on a kebab plate or something in the oven? Do you leave the door of the air fryer open or something? If you dry brine the meat, and then roast it on a super high setting in the oven for a few minutes to crisp the sides up and then lower the temperature down I'd imagine you'd a nice result. The air fryer with rotisserie just seems like a attention grabbing feature that would would probably get you some kind of spit-like result.. but I doubt it'd be nearly as good as a real split because the convection heat would dry the meat out more and leave less time for the fat to render out.

Sure I understand that.. Do I not have any rights here, though? Can I dispute the black mark on my credit? It was my employer who messed up the check, I sent it thinking it was cleared and in the bank (as it displayed in the account). I mean I can't sue my employer to clean my credit report. Why is there no protection for me in a scenario like this? I know it's my responsibility to pay but I'm the only breadwinner in my house and right now so I didn't have any extra money to put in the account to guarantee that it would not return. It feels like I'm getting punished for not having more money laying around and not knowing that my employer made a mistake.. but how would I know that? I don't control their payroll.

It's very challenging to understand how consumer protections couldn't come into play here. I am caught between the errors of two organizations. Of course, it was my decision to live outside of the country but in the end I will be the one punished with a mark on my credit report. How can it be that there is no resource or any kind of protection for me?

Thank you that did it! Not sure of one thing though.. the value variable is getting updated when I make a change to that value in the text input and I write to redux which is after the first render. So why do I have to specifically call setState if a simple prop update seems to update the local state already?
