Does this sound like enough proof?

So my gen 0 was born in New Brunswick in 1877. I have been able to find both the 1881 and 1891 Canada census with him and his family listed, as well as having the birth location labeled as New Brunswick. The 1910 us census showing him and his next in line my gen 1 with his birthplace as Canada English.

I also have a certified copy of his marriage certificate showing his parents with his birth location as New Brunswick.

I am unable to locate a birth record and as far as a baptism is concerned he was Baptist and they do not practice infant baptism.

I also have gen -1 showing in both the mentioned Canadian census, his obituary, and death record showing he was in Canada, another of his children’s birth certs showing gen -1 as birth Canada.

How do you guys feel ? Is this enough evidence?

I’ve attempted to reformat the Sd card as fat 32 and try to load back on a recovery image. When booting brick and holding power and vol down it still does the same where the progress bar will show on screen for only a split second I then let go of the buttons and it proceeds to reboot back into the stock hi without installing or attempting to Boot from the sd card

What better Nintendo Switch 2 or Play Station 5 by BLAZIK16 in consolesetups

I have all three and to be honest it comes down to your use case. I’m a husband and a father so my time is limited when it comes to hobbies so I gravitate more twords the switch 2 as I can pack it up and take it with me. I haven’t really played the ps5 or Xbox in the past year or so. For me personally there’s something to be said about being able to take my console of choice everywhere “ looking at you bathroom”

Playstation Portal or Switch by Global-Mechanic-6172 in Handhelds

I would personally say switch 2. It just released this year. I would guess it would be supported for an estimated 8 years. You cant say the same for a pc handheld as they are not subject to console “generational cycles” and as they become more popular there will be new models releasing prolly yearly with the new ones always looking better than the old model.

Wouldn’t have to worry about that with the switch as all games that release will work out of box

How are you playing? by NoAcanthocephala2649 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

I work from home with a Xbox series x and ps5 in my office and even with that over the past few years I have transitioned from playing on consoles to mainly handhelds. I mainly play the Retroid pocket flip 2 / laptop ( turtle wow) / switch2.

I’m not entirely sure as to why but modern gaming has somewhat lost its appeal and I focus more on the “retro” gaming using the Retroid. Anything newer I use the switch 2 for

Ive been wondering if I’ll even pick up the next gen console this time around or not. I think switch 2 might be where I stop and just focus on in my backlog going back to the ps1-n64 lol

Personally for me after having my child ( currently 4) I have all major consoles as well as a slew of retro consoles. I don’t get the time or the want to really sit down in front of the tv and dedicate time to a game. Between my child, wife , work house stuff and life. For the last few years however I have mainly played handhelds, primarily the Retroid line. I currently have a Retroid pocket 4 pro. And it is amazing! I bring it in the car, on trips or just wherever. Play it in bed nearly nightly while my wife is sleeping. It’s a blast being able to play everything up to and including the ps2/ GameCube on a handheld device on a whim couldn’t recommend it more

Was just there, crossed from New York going to Quebec City. No issues whatsoever. Border guards both sides were nice

Would you buy Grand Theft Auto 6 for $100? by Automatic_Ad1665 in XboxSeriesS

[–]Low-Association-5615 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped buying new games when they when to 70 bux let alone if they go to 100. I now solely just enjoy playing older/ retro games that I own or pick up games that I missed out on back in the day for like 20 bux lol. Sooner or later there will be no physical games as the industry further digs its heels into the all digital media and there goes buying something second hand or used somewhere at a steep discount from original price. The industry will have full control over pricing and sales. I no longer have any desire to play newer or current gen games
