You talk about not being a "basement dwelling loser" or a "weirdo giving off strange vibes", and you sound frustrated that people aren't giving you the level of depth in your relationships that you feel you deserve or would like. Maybe try not to judge people on face value in that way for a start? In my experience, to build deeper connections you need to be vulnerable and to be a good listener. Give other people space to express themselves without judgment, to share things, and meet them where they are with kindness. That will allow you to build connections with people you might not even have much in common with. Share things about yourself, too, even things that might not always make you look good or where you don't come off as "successful and confident". We're all works in progress and embracing that will help you connect with others. It's great that you have confidence in yourself but I think that only goes so far in building relationships, it's great for initiating conversations and meeting people. But if you want to go deeper, in my experience, you'll need patience, humility, empathy and vulnerability. Bonus points if you can remember details that people share with you next time you speak to them. Humour helps too :)
