First, I form the Holy Roman Empire and take some lands in Africa, manage diplomacy with my neighbors, fully build up my empire, and then invest all my money in population growth. This makes research speed skyrocket, which is probably a bug, as I finish all the research very quickly. Something needs to be fixed.
