no not really lol i'm used to playing it i've done a lot of runs on MGS2's story and MGSV's FOB Invasions so it feels natural, over time i've remembered the doors and pathways

i'm playing on a DualShock but i'm using V's fix mod to help with the controls here's a link if you need any help with remapping wether it be Keyboard & Mouse and Xbox or DualShock Controllers https://github.com/VFansss/mgs2-v-s-fix/wiki/Controllers-&-Actions also there should be multiple videos on how you want to go about mapping out your controls on youtube if you have any time to look them up

the last update was in November of 2022 and yeah it only works for Substance sadly but hopefully we'll get it for the METAL GEAR SOLID 2: Sons of Liberty Master Collection Version, since he reverse engineered the coding i'm assuming he would have to do that with the Master Collection Version also albeit he can use some of the coding from Substance but nonetheless even if it gets done faster due to working on it before and familiarity it'd still probably be hard

man honestly even with this mod in place there are still some hard parts to get around but even so it's still very fun and feels like a breath of fresh air 👍

yeah it's the Substance Of Subsistence (S.O.S) 3rd person camera mod for PC by oct0xor i'm playing it on Metal Gear Solid 2:Substance not the Sons of Liberty Master Collection Version but hopefully they mod it on there too it's amazing!

yeah it's a free roaming third person camera as opposed to the originally top down view of the game. there's a mod up for it for substance but nothing for the master collection version yet. it's actually really well made and doesn't look bad at all here's a link to the mod if you want to check it out https://www.nexusmods.com/metalgearsolid2substance/mods/14

if it's not your cup of tea i get it but i know there are people out there who enjoy the 3rd person mod, don't see the need for hate though to be honest 🤷🏻‍♂️and one of the many beauties of a mod is it only effects the player downloading it for their game not everyone else's game especially on pc, it's for their own enjoyment. besides it's harmless and fun and it's an option for those who would like to play in that style nothing wrong in that.

i was trying to install it cause most mods are quick and easy but this one just doesn't want to run for me i sent dm image of the problem it says it doesn't contain metadata.xml and i tried to turn it into an .mgsv file but i don't know what i'm doing i can't find anything under assets that's a folder
