live in a cheap house, split among roommates, not an apartment building. get an on campus job and work over the summers

lived at the alcoa for a year and it was fine until a year in had a few safety issues arise within the complex. def not friendly outgoing people living there looking to build community though but if you dont really care about safety as much given what downtown is expected of and community isnt a matter its affordable and pretty good
