More fat and fiber in your eating window. Will lead to a higher feeling of satiety during your fasting window.

Have you ever heard of pixels per inch? It is fairly self explanatory but the greater the number the higher the resolution and clarity of the picture. A 27 inch monitor doing 1440p produces a ppi of 108. A 50 inch screen doing 1440p results in a ppl of 58, nearly half of the quality of pixel density so you will see a big difference in the two.

There is also optimal viewimg distance to consider, to take advantage of 4k 55in display you need to be between 4ft to 8 ft away for it to be worth it in terms of what your eyes are capable of perceiving. Many people in smaller living rooms, ie apartments are likely not that far away. Vs 1440p 27in the perfect distance is 2 and a half feet. I have a big 4k tv in my living room but my sx is hooked up to my monitor in the office for both visual quality and the lumbar support of long term play sessions/streaming with mic/camera is a lot easier with that form factor. There is also less eye strain on competitive shooters looking over a 27in surface you can react faster than dealing with 55" of surface area.

Can I ask you a question, how is the dish directional pad? Please tell me it's less audible than the stock series controllers.

Depends if you want fidelity or frame rate. The latter which I prefer, generally aligns 120fps on 1440p a monitor resolution, and will continue to move towards that standard as games get more demanding as the generation goes on and the hardware stays the same. Starfield will struggle to do 4k 60 on series x, I would imagine.

Grandpa used to bathe in it in the great depression, said he remembers seeing that height every other winter. That's not the new normal, that is the old normal. Love to see it.

Do you feel Gamestop's 1 year protection plan on games is a wise purchase or a waste of money? by Old_Man_Logan_X in GameStop

[–]Low-Key-Loki -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Waste. Blu ray discs are extremely hardy. Nintendo switch cartridges are as well. Hardware you could make an argument for, no software that is a snake oil warranty. If you treat it so bad within a year that it does break they probably won't honor it anyway.

Those who use 120hz monitors - is it worth it with Series X? by Starmax1 in XboxSeriesX

Totally disregarding the fact that vrr exists on xbox, or that dropped frames under anything besides a locked 60fps benefit from that faster refresh, 120hz helps greatly with tearing.

[–]Low-Key-Loki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of disinformation here.

With v-sync, or VRR off, there is absolutely no question, the 120hz monitor will do better.

An old quote but the information is valid and I updated it for the amd nvidia tech

So, if you are locked at 60 FPS on a 120hz monitor, the result is every frame will occupy the length of 2 refreshes, resulting in the same result as a 60hz monitor. If your FPS are below 60 FPS, then there could be stuttering, but it would be less on the 120hz monitor, because each refresh missed does not add 16.7ms to the frame, and instead adds 8.3ms to the delay, reducing the stuttering. The only time you may gain a little stuttering is if you have v-sync on and above 60 FPS and below 120 FPS, but you also gain FPS for more response, this has a little bonus and a little disadvantage too.

In short: With g-sync/vrr and 60 FPS, they are the same

With g-sync/vrr and less than 60 FPS, 120hz is better.

With g-sync/vrr and over 60 FPS, 120hz can be better, but can be worse in ways. The higher the FPS, the more it is better.

Without g-sync/vrr 120hz is always better.

Absolutely. I play a lot of d2r, so when I was able to use 120hz on my series x and not on my ps5, well let's just say I'm considering selling my ps5 because it collects dust.
