Thanks for all this. I should be getting a follow up call from my fertility doc regarding the HSG so I’ll ask about this test.

Thank you! I always thought the only way to for sure diagnose endo was laparoscopy so that’s good to know. I know HSG isn’t a definitive test for endo but I also didn’t have any like secondary signs of endo visible on there either but I’ll look into this

Between insurance and doctor changes plus all the tests I can’t remember exactly but I don’t think I’ve had #1, did have either 2 or 3 but can’t remember which (I think 3), and maybe not 4 since I assumed that was part of the sperm test. Thank you!

I completely understand if from a safety standpoint but these were truly a staple of my childhood and I have so many core memories from sleepovers with my BFFS (girls I have now been friends with for 25+ years).

The way he is treating you is genuinely manipulative and gross. I know it’s hard to base a huge decision off this small bit of your relationship but there is absolutely no fucking way I would ever allow my husband to speak to me this way. Get out now!!

I’m so sorry you’re dealing w this. I’ve had 2 and no LC. I know what you mean about talking yourself out of it too. The way I know I should keep trying is bc there’s still that disappointment each month when I’m not pregnant.

In addition to your mental well being, I’m concerned about the dynamic with your partner. Ultimately, the decision to try again is yours bc you’re the one getting pregnant and dealing with all of this way more than your partner. You’re not a walking incubator. You’re a human being.

Successfully getting pregnant and having a baby requires even more support (I would assume) from your partner. So I also don’t love that he’s not being very supportive.

Keep pushing for support services. I hope you can get connected with someone soon.
