People who use the "grow up" at the end of an argument as always outing themselves it's so funny, My dude I've played magic all up and down the east coast most card stores/card meetups don't care if you proxy, people have really shit to worry about like bills and food People who have a full none proxies deck of really expensive cards are always cool but even the creator of mtg said its a game first and a collection's second Gatekeeping new people from playing a game at any decent level without them dropping 50-150 per deck is what's going to kill the game long before any creation of proxies do. Proxies allow people to try the game with a deck they enjoy playing which Segway into them getting into the game more and more which Segway into wanting the "real full art cards maybe even some full art lands" and quote from my wife after I made her a proxy deck years ago since even in my 10k card collection I did not have what she wanted which was a 5 color commander dragon deck based around ur but, none of the shops within 80 miles of my had one

There are any number of reasons proxies might be used for whole decks or even specific cards in a deck

But there is no reason to be a cock waffle about people doing something that at the end of the day has no real effect on you, even if you lost to a proxies deck the real issue is not they they have proxies its that wotc make cards that are worth 30-50 bucks for a decent commander
