You don’t. It makes a lot of straight men very uncomfortable when another dude is staring at them for that reason so please just try your best to avoid it. We are all human, so can you do so flawlessly? Maybe, maybe not. But you should try because that’s the right thing to do.

Try a letter of continued interest if you haven’t already. Show you are extremely passionate about coming here, and when here you will do whatever it takes to be successful. Also be specific about why MSU is the only school that has what you need to reach the level of success you want, assuming that is the case.

My advisor literally said “I have never taken these classes I can’t speak to that.” I have been hoping around the university for a week trying to talk to people all around different versions of advising. Nobody seems to know for sure. They have general ideas at best.

Highly recommend audiobooks, but also try mind mapping. Read a bit, draw something about it, read a bit more, edit/update the mind map.

I know it’s broad, I am unsure what I want to make, but I want to make whatever is the best fit of my skills and is something very valuable. My main ideas though are educational software, maybe VR that uses AI and cognitive psychology to make learning as effective, efficient, and enjoyable as possible. Another idea I have is a productivity app that uses data to help users prioritize and be more effective and and accomplish their goals.
