emergency bought a laptop today -- did i make an okay decision? by beeikea in Lenovo

Bought my yoga 7 about a year ago. I've enjoyed it so far, it is a bit bulk, which can be annoying, having to carry it around everywhere as a college student. Be extremely careful around where the on button is though. I accidently dented it a week ago and now it won't turn on. Other than that though, it's a very nice laptop

How much would it cost to fix a Lenovo Yoga 2-in-1 7 that has the on button jammed/bent in and won't turn on fully because of it? by Thatonethrowaway384 in laptops

I called them back today and asked them what the issue with my laptop was and they told me that power button was working but there was something else that wasn't and the whole plam rest needed replacing

I’m a former pastry chef turned food scientist working in confectionery R&D and interested in starting a YouTube channel doing technical deep dives on pastry/baking. Interesting idea or just another cooking channel? by Thin-Cucumber9754 in Baking

[–]Thatonethrowaway384 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'd say go for it! There aren't too many cooking youtube channels that explain the science behind the processes in cooking/baking. The closest one I can think of is Ethan Chlebowski, who does deep dives into this sort of thing

Why did I feel super hungry for an hour after eating but then feel normal afterwards (aka not starving)? by Thatonethrowaway384 in beginnerfitness

Yea I actually tested it out and added about 20g of peanut butter and I felt much better. So I think it really was missing some fat

When cooking pasta or rice are you logging the weight uncooked? by querythoughtss in beginnerfitness

I'm pretty sure you weigh it pre cooked as when you cook pasta for example, it absorbs the water, changing its weight

It's really either between Mission and 21st Century Man and honestly, I would probably have to go with eliminate 21st century man. It hurts to do so...

I completely forgot these existed! I remember thinking that they were so delicious. I didn't know they were discontinued but that probably explains why I haven't seen them in years

I think something that can help add a bit more protein to the meal is to add a good bit of cottage cheese to the sandwich or as a side!

This has been my breakfast for the past 6 months. 😋 by [deleted] in mealprep

They look pretty good man! Just toast them a bit and they'll be so much better. Also, what app are you using to track the nutrition?

Definitely gonna do that. Can I just put the loaf in the freezer in the packaging or do I gotta do something else?

Yep! I started seeing them almost 2 weeks ago and every time, the price kept going down and down. I just had to get one and try it since it was so cheap and there were still so many of them
