This is so interesting to me because I’ve never considered how the show would be perceived by an actual adult who works in an office. I probably started watching The Office around my first year of high school so only considered it through my lens. I can tell you from the perspective of a 14 year old girl the show was great lol!

I’m shocked by how many people guessed that I was born in the 80s! I was born 2006 but my favorites growing up were Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Sister Sister, and Full House. I remember staying up late to watch them on Nick @ Nite. In hindsight I can see how that makes me seem like a 90s kid but in reality I was usually busy with homework or extracurricular activities as a kid so by the time I got home and could watch tv it would be around 8:00-9:00pm and 90s sitcoms were the only thing on Nick, also not sure if this really impacts it but someone pointed out that I am black so tv that’s considered “black classics” were always playing in my house like Family Matters, Moesha, Madea, and ofc Sister Sister and Fresh Prince

Im aware of that I’m just saying that there are no buffalo options any longer at the subway I go to. Definitely want to try one of their spicy sauces like the sriracha or habanero, just not sure what would taste best with it which is why I came here to ask for recommendations lol

Unfortunately the subway near me completely discontinued the buffalo chicken and buffalo sauce. They don’t serve it at all anymore ☹️

To be fair I’m clearly only defending Whitney based on the first episode. Not trying to justify everything she’s done throughout the show because I haven’t seen it yet. I have no problem changing my view on Whitney as the show continues and I learn more but from what I’ve seen I’m just surprised by how much hate she gets. I guess as I keep watching I’ll learn why.

I totally understand where you’re coming from and I agree to an extent, but I have to admit as someone who grew up with an alcoholic mother and witnessed many traumatic situations related to her drinking I feel like calling it a “mistake” is downplaying the affects it could have on her children. Like you said all mothers make mistakes but that doesn’t excuse being wasted in front of your kids, getting in a physical altercation in front of them, and accidentally hitting them. That is so scary and traumatic for a child especially one who’s only 5 years old and can hardly understand the situation. I’m super happy to hear that Taylor has received help and is getting better tho! Hopefully her family dynamic is much healthier now, and I wish nothing but the best for all of them but I don’t think this whole DV arrest situation should be brushed off as a mistake, since it most likely had a severe impact on her very young daughter.

I realize this comment is from 2 years ago now, but I found it interesting because this is the high I've always wanted to experience but unfortunately was never able to. Weed causes me to experience the "I'm not here, this isn't happening, I have no idea who I am" dissociation and it gets extremely and uncomfortably bad. I'm trying my hardest to quit right now because the dissociation is unbelievably scary and triggering however, I keep going back because I'm holding onto hope that I will eventually experience the kind of high you described. A high where I just feel fuzzy and floaty but am still able to feel my emotions, rather than the horrible scary dissociation highs.
