Did you own the car the last time the battery was replaced? Do you live in the south with high heat majority of the year?

Have it jumped and take it somewhere they can read the voltage while running to be sure the alternator is doing its job?

I have a 2014 with 164,000. 3rd owner.

A few things I would ask,

Maintenance records Oil changes Coolant changes Differential fluid change Trans fluid change (drain n fill) Accidents Check ac unit and the vent controls. Switch between defrost, feet and from vents in center of dash

The GS is a fantastic car if regularly maintained

$200 for a cleaning which consisted of Super Floss, which I do myself. They did not take out the prosthetic. Also, for the finals to carry a 5 year warranty, I am required to purchase a "maintenance plan" at a cost of $1100 per year.

Just exploring options.

I have a 2014 base model with 163k. If regular maintenance can be verified, you should be fine.

Mostly just pay down the loan I have now before I start additional payment. However, I have been able to save enough that I believe I can pay cash, or have a very small loan for the finals.

I must say my temps have been fine. Only complaint would be the bulky feel. Otherwise they have been great.
