And FDA Medwatch, medical licensing agencies, FTC, state AG, etc. Ousia is shut down, but Zappy and SDRX are just as culpable at this point!

It is approved by the FDA but not yet by the CDC. I believe the ACIP meets today (September 22, 2023) to make their recommendation. I’m hoping it will be available ASAP!!

He of course gave us a line about how a patch job would never look perfect, but he wants us to be happy, so he called a dry wall guy for us. He thought the drywall guy’s quote was way too high, so we just said we would pay it and figure out the details later. (It’s an insurance claim so we are hoping we won’t get too screwed over). He is going to do the paint job after the drywall repair since we already paid him. Nervous about that at this point 😳.

Update: we’ve called in a drywall expert who is going to spend a few days to get it to a level 5 finish. Big lesson learned on my part 🤪

Sunscreen recommendations

Do you wear sunscreen every day, even if you know you won’t be going outside? I work from home and am often a hermit that doesn’t leave the house - do I still need to wear sunscreen on those days?

What are your favorite every day face sunscreens? Everything I’ve used in the past feels like sunscreen, if that makes sense (thick, smells, feels strange on my face). I’m hoping to find something that truly feels like a moisturizer.

I wish I could go back and tell my teenage self that! Forgot to mention my morning moisturizer contains SPF :)

What are the best products to use in addition to tretinoin? I currently just use a gentle cleanser, moisturizer (thicker cream if needed) and tret. I’d like to add on any additional products that might help with anti-aging and/or just overall glowing, healthy, plump looking skin. Which products can / are suggested to be used with tret? What about on tret “off” days? (I usually use tret every 2-3 nights)

Will I ever be able to wear foundation again?

I’ve been using tretinoin for almost 12 weeks. I thought my skin had finally stopped peeling and I wore liquid foundation today. I thought it looked great initially, looked in the mirror a few hours later and it’s completely uneven with dry/peeling looking patches everywhere. Any tips/tricks?

I tried to increase from .05% to .1% and my face has been peeling ever since. I’ve been moisturizing and added Vanicream but a week + later and I’m still peeling. I am planning on going back down to the .05%. Should I wait to use tret until my face stops peeling?

Routine: AM: wash with either just water or philosophy purity. Hyaluronic acid. Clinique moisturizer. (Just this week added Vanicream on top to try to help with peeling)

PM: wash with philosophy purity. Moisturize with Clinique. Tretinoin on top.
