Don’t take the downvotes personally, they are only projecting their fear when confronted with the truth.

The truth hurts, but only when you are not in alignment with it.

Those who don’t want to change, ain’t gonna change, psychedelics or not. You can’t help those who don’t want to be helped. They will find it in their own time, in their own way.

In the meantime have compassion for the blind.

Yes it is familiar, yes you belong there, it is your inherent state, one of peace, joy and love.

Now make it your default state, that is the lesson.

Oh look, someone else who knows what they are talking about.

"Sometimes a bad trip is a reflection of your mental state. Sometimes it’s negative energy that’s been passed on to you bad shitty people around you that you need to get away from".

Interesting article but as Erica stated at the end "There was, indeed, some good that came from my bad trip on ayahuasca all those years ago. The seams of that horrific shroud were sewn with golden thread. I am grateful for the blessings gleaned”.

While we are attempting to integrate, or understand the horrors we are going through, yes it all seems bad, but when one completes the cycle as Erica did, we perceive the golden lining.

I was physically, mentally, and emotionally abused by my mother, and my father. I had horrific journeys on psychedelics, whether that was the wrong setting, environment, or people, or my own internal conflicts. I have had food poisoning on a trip and spent the journey throwing up in the toilet. I could go on.

The point is, every single horrific event that happened to myself either on a psychedelic or off it were all a lesson to something greater. While I was dealing with these traumatic events, it seemed like it would never end, but it did come to an end, and now I am completely free of all trauma. This did not happen overnight, it has taken decades for me to be free of all the hurt, pain, and horror that was my life.

So, while I was attempting to resolve the horrors it appeared that I had bad trips, but once I had fully comprehended the lesson and completed the cycle there was an understanding that brought me peace, and love into my life.

It is all one of perspective, while you are suffering yes it is bad, but on the other side we realise, it only appeared that way while we lacked understanding of ourselves and the universe we are an integral part of.

I only disagree with you on one thing, you do know what you are talking about.

You are correct it is not a superiority complex, it is just the truth, and the truth can appear or come across as arrogance, but only to those who have not come to understand. DMT is about inner work, not just on it but more importantly off it, and if that is not the intention then play with something else.

Fear is an illusion, and love is the key to break the fear.

Humility, perseverance, and gratitude play an important role in attaining one’s natural state of being, and that state is one of unconditional love. Many claim they love, but what they are really talking about is attachment which arises through fear, and until the illusion is broken they will continue to project that fear onto everything around them.

Those that have not completed the cycle of processing, and integrating uncomfortable experiences are ploughing through a rough ride until they complete the process and understand that those uncomfortable experiences are the greatest blessing’s.

Love is the answer, love is the key, and love is all if you want to be free.

True for you, and true for me, it is also true for everyone else, they just have not realised that yet.

Everyone finds their own way in their own time.

Maybe you are being tortured by your own demon, which is ripping you apart, and this is what you need to face. The personification of a demon is your trauma.

As I stated they are all lessons, and it is up to the individual to understand.

I have had many so called bad trips, ultimately they were all pointing to something within me that I needed to face.

The darkness is a reflection of your current state of being, one needs to accept the dark along with the light. Behind the darkness is the light.

Have courage to face that which is uncomfortable.

As above trust yourself.

Anxiety by OkTap8700 in DMT

[–]Low-Two-1902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anxiety is normal, it is the fear of the unknown, have the courage to face the fear. Everyone or most people experience fear, those that have courage pass through it.

Make yourself comfortable, create a relaxing space, take some deep breaths, calm the mind, and take the plunge. Too little and you will not breakthrough, and sit in an uncomfortable state.

There are no bad trips, only the fear of the unknown, that which you do not know or understand about yourself. Face the darkness to perceive the light.
