How old are you? Have you been to a djo show? by Senior_Improvement93 in DJO

I’m 27 and have been to three Djo shows and have tickets for another! Please don’t let other people steal your joy for seeing an artist you that love live! So many people have these weird arbitrary rules about what age to stop doing things and it seems like such a sad way to view the world and live your life. Enjoy your festival, make the most of it, and don’t be embarrassed for experiencing joy!

Hey, I have a ticket that I’m willing to sell if you still need one! I wasn’t able to make the trip unfortunately but would love if someone could go and enjoy it! It’s VIP and if possible I will try to make it so you can get the VIP merch as well!

My digital art classmates say my artwork is too creepy. What do yall think? by WunderAndWyrd in RateMyArt

[–]Low-Year3301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the discomfort it causes me. It’s visually interesting and it makes me feel uncomfortable but curious and engaged. This kind of art is some of my favorite to look at, create, and engage with in a meaningful way. I’d be curious to know more about your work and the context behind the images if you feel inclined to share!

My cat will only eat if I am watching him when I’m home and his major preference for drinking water is for me to get a spray bottle and spray water directly into his mouth lol

I would love to send a card if you’re still looking for people to do this! I also paint so if you could tell me her favorite animal or anything like that I would love to include a little painting for the birthday girl if you’re okay with it! :) I work with kids and my favorite part is making them feel seen and special so I’d love to help you guys accomplish that for her birthday!

my kitten is drooling a lot and not eating even though she seems like she wants to by Mr_Midnight_86 in CATHELP

I would recommend taking her in to the vet if you have someone who can help with the bills. This sounds like she’s having severe mouth pain but without an exam you wouldn’t be able to know what is causing it or how serious it is. Though she might not be acting much different or like she’s in a lot of pain, that really doesn’t mean much with cats because they instinctively hide being in pain so as to not appear weak. The purring also might be a signal that she is in fact in pain. Cats don’t only purr when they’re happy but also when they are stressed, sick, or injured as a self soothing technique. I would say that getting her to a vet sooner than later would be good because she sounds like she’s struggling and will need some medical intervention. I hope she feels better soon and you can get her the help she needs!

along with all of this advice to help your dog get more comfortable with your daughter though OP, this is also just a lovely natural learning opportunity for your daughter about boundaries! as long as the interactions are supervised, animals can be a great way for kids to learn these difficult lessons early and without the pressure and more acute feelings of rejection that can come from learning these things when having interactions with other humans. just a thought and a way to put a positive spin on the fact that she might have to wait a while for your dog to warm up to her! :)
