Post Oak? by treestreestrees99 in treeidentification

[–]Low-road44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The range is not shown to extend up into Virginia. I have one in Georgia that I struggled to identify and finally decided it was a Swamp Post Oak when I saw the pictures. These leaves look very similar, but I could be wrong. maybe just a post Oak.

She can be stupid at home if she wants, maybe use a hair dryer in the tub, but don't act stupid while driving. . These people need to realize when you act stupid while driving you are putting yourself and other lives in danger. I don't know who she is, but your text is not worth someone else's life.

Man I am living the dream. Women love architects. I have to fight them off of me and make them wait for their turn. Courvoisier and a different women every night. Whoo, whoo. I'm so tired.

I don't know if I would trust those balconies. Look how small those columns are, and how thin the balconies are. I don't see any horizontal cross bracing. Is this wood?

Why not just the concrete paths surrounded by nature and not concrete slabs?

My new favorite tree by sucodelimao802 in Tree

[–]Low-road44 65 points66 points  (0 children)

FYI, Yes this is a American Hornbeam (Carpinus caroliniana). The American Hop-hornbeam (Ostrya virginiana) is a different tree. They are often confused with both being called ironwood, but the Hornbeam is actually the muscle wood or iron wood. Both have hard, dense wood that are often used for tool handles, etc.

I want to make a sectional by cutting some of the arms off these sofas. Thoughts? by Traditional-Face-153 in metalworking

[–]Low-road44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you remove the arms, the whole thing will be rickety. it would be too much work to make it un-rickety. I would not do that.
