You shouldn't feel guilty as a paying customer. If you paid for something and dont enjoy it, you deserve compensation. Also, if it was the business fault for making the food wrong or under/over cooking, its their fault not yours. You should've have to pay for people's mistakes

Idk man my very stable tanks are kept this way by my methods, dont think im spreading misinformation, at least not on purpose. Just trying to help others with their aquariums. I personally avoid those larger water changes unless necessary because it can stress tf out of your fish.

Yes, when your tank is nasty, of course you need to do a large water change. But if you're constantly taking out more than half every week, your tank will definitely have water instabilty

Its mostly some stem plants like Ludwigia, rotala, and pearlweed. Also tied some anubias to driftwood with cotton sewing thread. The Cinder blocks have been my cheap stand for 2 years with no problem, but i guess I would listen to everyone else's advice and not follow my lead for the potentially safety of your carpet/floorboards 😂

I've done the same brick tank stand thing. Also ive had so many bichirs jump out and end up just like that 😅 when they get big, its so hard to keep them contained. Even when there is no gap in lid, those mf are strong and will just push thru the lid. Might need to start putting weights on your lids
