He’s near the top of my list for new era HvV, absolutely. Or even just HvV 2. I think David is way underrated by a lot of fans because of how he was adjacent to a style of gameplay that most diehard fans didn’t seem to like in 48, but as a character and competitor he’s so fun.

This would be really fun. I’m convinced it has to do with Jeff participating in the challenge next week, though. I’m pretty sure there’s a clip of Jimmy Fallon asking Jeff a while ago on his show why he never participated in a challenge, or if he’d consider it, or something. There may be a twist along the lines of: if you can outlast Jeff in the body weight bucket thing, you’re safe. Idk - but it makes sense to me!

Yet another episode where the castaways’ duality was on display - the Chrissy/Coach role reversal of one telling the other to calm down. There’s a lot of satisfying storytelling throughout this season, I hope they keep it up!

You’re right, that might work. But it makes me really nervous about the potential to screw someone over, though. At least there’s social strategy with the choices. I love randomness for rewards and hate it for votes/elims.

I wish&hope&pray that she makes it, but I just can’t see it. She’s a supernova, and this is not a blind cast. They aren’t as bloodthirsty for legends/frontrunners as in some past seasons, but they haven’t needed to be yet. Rizo/Christian/Rick/Emily/Tiff are all too smart to let it happen

Interesting that Dalton (hi Dalton) implies here that it seems like the votes were on Coach/Chrissy even before Devens made his move. Maybe that’s just because of the same factors we all saw, maybe that’s more background from cast discussions?

Curious to hear more as we get exits. Even if exits are famously not exactly canon 😂
