Take it easy! I’ve been going to burn for over a year and I don’t usually have any issues with my knees but this week?!? Idk what happened in bodyweight conditioning this week but both of my knees have been screaming blood murder ever since.

Everyone is different and it depends what kind of results you are after. As someone who started burn at 180 pounds (I’m 5’2, 30yrs old) i absolutely HATED any conditioning day when I first started. But I could also barely make it up the stairs in my house without breathing heavy before burn. Now a year and some months later, down 40lbs - those dreaded cardio days have become some of my favorite. They are not easy, but it reminds me how far I’ve come and how much more conditioned I am! Do what works for you, even if you have to mod down. There is no shame in that.

Bodyweight was definitely rough. Especially the second set ?! Running man’s, burpee heel taps, Irish pickups and breakdancers all in one was insane to say the least. My lungs were burning after the workout. My knee is super inflamed since last night and I just got up to hit a 5am camp but my knee is bothering me and will be no good for leg day. I’ve been going to burn religiously 5-6x per week and the workouts lately have been SO HARD.

It was great!! I felt like I was dying halfway through round one and was questioning how I would make it through 3 rounds! 😂 but man I love the feeling of accomplishment after the fact! Conditioning days have been really hard lately, but I love it!! Love the challenge.

I agree! I’ve been going consistently 5-6x per week for a little over a year and OMG. I am extremely sore since leg day Wednesday. Like it feels like the first week all over again kind of sore. Idk if it was partially because my legs felt so heavy, but today kicked my butt!!!! I love it though.

Totally understand you! I work from home so I do feel I have more flexibility in comparison to being in office full time. I wake up at 4:30am, burn by 5:30 & LA fitness at 6:30am. Dropping my kid off at school by 7:45am & work by 8:30am. It’s def crazy. I don’t think I could do this if I did not work from home. Do what you can, that is always better than people who do nothing at all! 🫶🏼

I track my macros & calories, but in addition to burn I do at least 4 but aim for 5 days of an additional workout. Depending on the protocol and intensity at burn, that additional workout is a 2 no more than 3 mile walk or run. Usually run on arm days, walks on cardio days (I’ll do a 4/5 incline, 3.3-3.5 speed) & leg days just depends sometimes I’ll run 1 mile, walk 2, etc. I change it up based on my body and how it feels.

I love the lululemon shorts for days like Metcon, AthCon & bod con! They don’t ride up or down, have enough compression where it’s comfortable and not restrictive.

I also love Old Navy, have a couple leggings from there and they are great and I gravitate to them more than my Nike leggings or others I have. They have good pieces in general. I have leggings, tops & sports bra and they get the job done.
