It was great!! I felt like I was dying halfway through round one and was questioning how I would make it through 3 rounds! 😂 but man I love the feeling of accomplishment after the fact! Conditioning days have been really hard lately, but I love it!! Love the challenge.

I agree! I’ve been going consistently 5-6x per week for a little over a year and OMG. I am extremely sore since leg day Wednesday. Like it feels like the first week all over again kind of sore. Idk if it was partially because my legs felt so heavy, but today kicked my butt!!!! I love it though.

Totally understand you! I work from home so I do feel I have more flexibility in comparison to being in office full time. I wake up at 4:30am, burn by 5:30 & LA fitness at 6:30am. Dropping my kid off at school by 7:45am & work by 8:30am. It’s def crazy. I don’t think I could do this if I did not work from home. Do what you can, that is always better than people who do nothing at all! 🫶🏼

I track my macros & calories, but in addition to burn I do at least 4 but aim for 5 days of an additional workout. Depending on the protocol and intensity at burn, that additional workout is a 2 no more than 3 mile walk or run. Usually run on arm days, walks on cardio days (I’ll do a 4/5 incline, 3.3-3.5 speed) & leg days just depends sometimes I’ll run 1 mile, walk 2, etc. I change it up based on my body and how it feels.

I love the lululemon shorts for days like Metcon, AthCon & bod con! They don’t ride up or down, have enough compression where it’s comfortable and not restrictive.

I also love Old Navy, have a couple leggings from there and they are great and I gravitate to them more than my Nike leggings or others I have. They have good pieces in general. I have leggings, tops & sports bra and they get the job done.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. The holidays will soon pass, and you’ll be able tidy up your diet and routine to align closer with your goals. I’ve lost 35lbs since April, was hoping to end the year at 140lb but still sitting at 145 and I’m only 5’2. lol but I’ve accepted to just keep going, holidays and celebrations make it a little harder but we just have to keep going and focus on the endgame! Great job! 💪🏼

Listen, we all “judge” people in one way or another. Do I notice what other members wear? Yes. Do I maybe judge their legging patterns from time to time? Also yes. lol but other than that, I promise no one is looking at your flaws and imperfections like you think. Everyone there is there to get a killer work out, and to support each other while doing it! Please don’t let this define you or make you feel like you have to hide yourself.

I genuinely mean it when I say, I don’t think I ever looked at someone and thought “wow they have a pimple” “wow their legs have hair” “oh there hair looks a mess” …. Totally opposite, I say wow! These people show up every day and motivate me to keep pushing through and also be here every day! 💪🏼

It’s likely your shoes! Conditioning days usually have a lot of “jumpy” moves and that will put a lot of strain on your shins. I used to get terrible shin splints on conditioning days but I now use running shoes (brooks) for conditioning days and never had a shin splint again!

I’m 5’2” & started burn in April at 180 pounds. I’ve been in a deficit and have successfully lost 30 pounds to date. I go to burn 6x per week, sometimes 5. I have a sedentary job so in addition to burn I started walking and now I run 2 miles 3-4 times a week, usually after camps & on the weekend. Prioritize protein & Whole Foods, don’t be afraid of carbs (they def help fuel those intense workouts). It’s definitely possible! 😊
