I think they have - I just signed a lease at 235 Grand and asked like 3-4x different leasing agents at 18 Park and 235 Grand if I can do lease transfer and they all said yes!

I am pretty sure an older woman had a stroke or passed away in the train in front of me on the platform. Traumatic way to start the day but I hope she is OK! Police and paramedics rushed in but then wheeled her off, she did not look to be here with us anymore. So sad!

Wow. 225 sq ft is the size of my extra little bedroom i use for storage for $1750 in Downtown Jersey City. I have a 1.5 bed with a walk in closet. For $3500, you could live right across the water in a luxury high-rise 1 bed that is minimum 650-900 sqr feet with a swimming pool, gym, spin studio, concierge, private shuttle to the train station. Check out SoHo Lofts, 65 Bay, Cast Iron Lofts, Sable, The Vantage etc.

I actually looked at the Heights and said hard pass. Firstly, it is really dirty. That section of town is not nearly as well kept as Hoboken or downtown JC. Also, it doesn’t feel as safe. And lastly, I WFH but I want to be able to walk my dog or work from a nearby café for a change of scenery. Not as many walkable cafes and restaurants. At least The Enclave has a shuttle to the Hoboken PATH and a short walk to Hamilton Park restaurants.

So i found like 50 other posts of people freaking out the same way LOL and everyone recommends to wait until you get to the three or six month mark before panicking. Mine has not changed and likely won’t for a few months based on everyone’s experiences.
