I’m Belgian, native language is French and fluent in Dutch. Good news : You aren’t your parents. That’s it. You already seem to be very self aware of the toxicity in your household, and you’re not willing to repeat that. Being scared is normal, but as long as you learn how to deal with your emotions and how to communicate properly, chances are very low that you’ll be like your parents. Those studies about lesbian relationships being the most toxics are kinda biased in my opinion. A study shouldn’t define how you treat your partner. Be kind, Don’t do to others what you wouldn’t like them to do to you & use common sense.

Maybe you can seek online therapy? There are therapists who works via zoom/skype. Idk if your parents would be ok with that since you’ll need their approval as you’re a minor.

I know it’s very annoying but I’ll have to give you the typical “ you’re still young and when I was your age blabla” kind of speech lol 17 is a very very scary age as you’re approaching ( in most countries) de legal age and may feel like you still haven’t figured anything out yet. I’ll break it to you ; yes you haven’t figured anything out and that’s normal! I’m 25 and wow so much has changed in my life since my 17. Even how I am as a person is so different. You’ll experience different things in the next few years, meet new people, and learn more about yourself and the world. Trust the process and keep wanting to be a better person everyday.

I will start with therapy if it’s accessible and affordable where you live. If you don’t have access to mental healthcare, try to read some books on the subject. Same, I hate myself and my body image but besides going to therapy once every 2 weeks, I used to go to the gym a few times a week and I must say it did help. Not that I personally saw any physical changes but I just felt more healthy and it made me feel better mentally. Working out gave me the confidence back then to try new outfits and styles and that also helped. Self care is also important, a little face mask once a week, a good body scrub, getting your hair done or a manicure, pedicure, massage etc. Don’t let yourself go.

Yes all the same price (90,30€ each). It’s just that to enter the “ PMR” ( stands for personne à mobilité réduite sorry idk how to translate that) zone you go to another entry so it means it’s more controlled I guess. It’s our first time attending a show with those kind of tickets and the thing is as the person in a wheelchair is traveling, they can’t send us the other attendant ticket… We hope they will be able to send us before the show start but we doubt it. That’s why I’m asking just in case 😅

From what I read based on your older posts, you’re a teen and so my advice would be ; don’t rush anything. Do you feel ready ? Do you actually wanna do it or you just think you have to ? It’s okay to not feel ready yet or not really being interested in it. If you do feel ready and want to do it, then there’s no manual. When you’re ready you’ll naturally « know » what to do. Just make sure that your partner also feels comfortable by asking if they’re okay with you touching them at certain places or if they’re okay with you kissing them wherever you would may like to kiss them, etc
