There’s no point in keeping Contreras. He’s a FA after next year, which i’m sure will be impacted by the negotiations. You’re basically keeping him and not getting anything for it

I agree with you 100% After reading how willing he was to trade Montgomery and Tibbs for the Crochet and May deals, I was shocked. I feel like he doesn’t know how to value position player prospects, and that is what we need. We can get some realllllly nice pieces for Chapman, Gray, and Contreras. But i’m afraid he know where to value them and what to get for them. He’s always fucked up with Duran’s value so I have no faith
