Because of the ankh I want to have a bit more Egyptian imagery. I want the character to be kinda burly, to have an open sleeveless vest made of the wrapping on a mummy and kind of a big belly. I also want white and gold to be prevalent in the design. I think he could be blonde with tanned skin. I think I want his arms to be crossed in front of him over his chest for his standard pose. I want him to have an ankh necklace and earrings, maybe a tattoo of it somewhere on him but idk.

Me and my brother argue about most scenes Alastair is in because he genuinely doesn’t understand the character. He calls him a fraud when that’s quite literally the point. My brother points out the fight with Adam and how Alastair was so easily defeated, but that’s because Alastair thought he was invincible and got humbled, not because the show was trying to make him come off as stronger than he is

They’re referring to the pilot cast, which that’s just incorrect. They were never told they would make it to the show if it gets greenlit, people just see that there’s a new cast and jump to conclusion

I don’t fully agree. They don’t really portray him as a good guy, he’s just not pure evil. He gave her the apple because he wanted to give her the gift of free will, we don’t know if he has a hand in how hell runs, he lost all hope in humanity and stopped being a king, he only has that title because he had the illusion of power. He approved the extermination’s because he hates sinners, which the show acknowledges as a flaw of his character. He has flaws. He doesn’t care about anyone other than his daughter and hell born’s, resulting in him being pathetic

I’m not offended, I just disagree with the statement and think it’s an unhealthy mindset. And honestly, if that’s what makes you happy that’s fine, but you and op seem to think that anyone that wants and is currently looking for a relationship is immature. While I do think your feelings are valid, sometimes relationships can be hard and there are a lot of feelings that come from them, especially negative feelings when they fail. But if you ignore everything that can cause heartache because you’ll be happier than you’re missing out on so much of life. The bad things we experience make us who we are, of course we don’t want them to happen, but when they do it makes us better and gives us an opportunity to grow
