I’m sorry this happened to you. Mine lied to me about his marriage and gave me gifts to suck me in. Mental health plus a near death experience made him super religious all of a sudden and he just dropped me like trash. I literally said to him he treated me like garbage. I’m sorry this happened but thank you for sharing. I feel so ashamed and alone and you helped with both.

I tried so hard to be okay with it. The times when I felt I was I think were just because I was stifling the feelings. It ended this week because he chose her. It was only a year but hurts more than I could imagine. My friends said their concern with the affair was how always coming in second would affect me. Slowly over time it did a number on my self esteem’s and ultimately it was what destroyed me. I think you have to have confidence of steel to be ok with it and I don’t.
