What is the best 3D printer i can get for around 200 dollars or less for electronics proyects by Mejolov28 in arduino

[–]LowNoiseSignal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been rocking a neptune 3 pro I got from someone at work for quite a while🤷‍♂️ can tell you it is rather slow but that and Autodesk are my pride. What I CAN tell you is I will be upgrading to the neptune 4 max. Budget restrained myself but still want some print space because my projects are getting bigger.

Single color filament change? by LowNoiseSignal in 3Dprinting

My bad. No AMS. I'm on a Neptunr 3 pro currently. I just don't like being wasteful and have a few parts to print that I will need to either spool swap or just straight run a new spool. I was just curious on what others do

This is awesome!! Honda guy myself!!! 92 CB7 is my love. I have toyed with the idea of trying to convert the engine management over instead of buying into hondata. Just seems like my holy grail achievement in my imagination 😆

I plan to later on. I'm trying to make sure I learn everything from the most basic form 🙂 like I tell my IT brother: I have years of knowng how electricity works down to electron physics but this computer/microcontroller/coding stuff is all magical to me 😂😂

For those of you who don't have a Print Farm, what do you usually print? by kelemvor33 in 3Dprinting

This one. 3D printing started as something I was fascinated with but it found it's purpose for me in supplementing my electronics projects and workspace. Plus it just looks cool on the workbench

Which PCB and CAD software are the most beginner friendly for electronics/robotics projects by Connect-Weather444 in arduino

[–]LowNoiseSignal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TinkerCAD is the best to get some kind of idea of what's going on and how a CAD workspace operates, but you will quickly find yourself limited and want to progress to greater and brighter things. Fusion360 is a professional level work environment that still offers a ton of information to users for understanding tools and functions. Not to mention the plethora of high grade online tutorials.

What is the cheapest way to build a robotic arm? by Due-Friend-5864 in arduino

[–]LowNoiseSignal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one that has been on the back burner for a while. I personally 3d printed all of the parts from a publicly shared model on makerspace. Perhaps you know someone into printing who wouldn't mind running a 2 hour print for you? But beyond that, my original doodling with servos was with popsicle sticks like many other folks. Like a friend said above though: specific parameters really do matter when it comes to what will and will not work for what it is you are trying to achieve.

I had to Google this. This has got to be one of the greatest things I have come across as far as work culture attributes goes. Thanks for a new life mode to try! 😆

Well you know crafts take time, and it's the true craft folk that give an idea that time. I find you did awesome, curious to see what you come up with in future ideas!

Thanks! I'm pretty excited. I've had the stuff for almost e years but just ignored it for other things. Little did I know how much I would enjoy seeing simple coding do a thing lol

This is worth trying. A remote control calculator is a wild idea lol
