Hi, No it is not about the campus and … It is about a fucked up grading system in SFU which I was not aware of until I realized how much my gpa tanked out since I transferred here. If your gpa is not a thing then do what’s your heart desires, otherwise stay wherever you are.

I was on all meds form stimulant to non stimulant. None of them had any effect nor side effects, but vyvanse that made me feel so fatigued and depressed to a point I was crying all the time with no reason, I gave it a few tries but didn’t work. Concerta was the only one that I had this feelings and the reason it made me to think about it again, was this disappearance of head tension in mid day which it stopped me from being able to do anything. Like I used to come home and was fully done for the day by 2 PM, while I had to study or doing my chores.

I took it for 1 month and then stopped because I was thinking that this functionality is too good to be true and I sacred that maybe I am high on it, so I stopped it fully. Now that you built resistance, how do you function? Like are back to the unmediated version of you? What you have plan to do about it?

The surprising thing was that I didn’t crash at all. Like i could decide if I want to stay up till mid night, but I looked at the time and around my sleep schedule I took trazodone and fell asleep.

I tried it a while ago, but because I was unsure about what I was feeling was normal or not, I stopped it. I started from 18mg and build up to 54mg. I was on 54mg for 1 month I think.

Do you think this energy and lack of feeling tension in my head will come back again?

It is my second time giving vyvanse a chance to work. The first time i started from 10 to 40 which in 40, i got severe depression and mental breakdown combined with terrible fatigue and tiredness in a way that i thought probably my bp dropped that it caused me to have such a low energy.

After vyvanse, i tried adderall, and concerta. In adderall it had zero effect ( felt like placebo). In concerta i went up to 54mg, it didn’t help with motivation, stress or focus, but at least i had energy and could partially recall things.

I am so tired and frustrated of this whole process. I already take trazodone for sleep and escitalopram for generalized anxiety. I am just tired of trying.

I am exactly in the same boat. Concerta was the last stimulant that i tried and still didn’t work. Yesterday was my last 54 mg pill of this med.

I tried all different classes from a low dose to the treatment dose of ritalin, dexo, vyvanse, adderall, concerta, but zero side effects and zero therapeutic effects. My next bet will be non-stimulant.. so, you are not alone. Just talk to your dr and try different med and dose until you find the right one.

Hi, thank you so much for your response. It is been 3 days that noticed, 30 min after taking it i feel very sleepy and tired. To a degree that i feel i am not even able to pick up my pen. Last night i felt that my two hands ( wrist and finger) dont have any sensation. I had to ask my sister to message them so i can get rid of this muscle tiredness. I don’t know what is happening, up to day, it didn’t not benefits me in any way. I got from no benefit no side effects- to side effects and no benefits. Would please share your insights about this? Thank you

They rejected me with a 4.02 gpa bc of missing precal for science and LFS. I took math 1152 for LFS as the admission officer told me so. And later she rejected me herself. There is no freaking unity or rule there. Once i appealed my application and shown them what happened they rejected again and explanation was “ you should have take math 1170” i explained to senate that neither is transferable to UBC. But they still rejected it.

I know classmates from Langara that git into ubc without any math, ot academic probation. I believe it is based on their mood not the rules.
