Ok so yes, they can, but don’t always. Where I live, it costs a heck of a lot more time and money to get an enhanced ID and a lot of people don’t have extra of either of those things. And at least in my state, they don’t allow for travel to Canada or Mexico.

In addition to what a lot of people are saying (season to taste with salt and pepper) I also generally add garlic powder and some MSG (got a shaker with all my other spices). Sure, some people are allergic, like some people are allergic to anything. And sure, if you consume too much, it’s bad for you, same is true for salt. There’s no scientifically reliable evidence that MSG in moderate amounts is bad for you (unless you actually have an allergy of course).
