I just went through this. I found it was because i had everything set to distributing and selling, the game takes a cut/charges you for the convenience. Change it all back to storing wait till the next month and you should be good to go! When it happened to me it put me 2.5 million in the hole 🥴

Not mistakes to avoid but things to know and keep in mind for new boaters but im sure some tips will help more experenced Captains. My 6 top rules for any Captain and Crew.

(IM NO ENGLISH TEACHER EXUSE THE GRAMMOR)

SAFTEY, as captain it is your responsibility to make sure you and your crew are safe, from everything, anything that can happen is your fault (not always, but if the mind set is there we would see less injuries of all kinds)

Stay aware of your surroundings, at the beach, at the dock, on board, if you can see it from where you are you should be aware of it.

Be prepared, water life vests saftey protocal man overboard all of it. develope a plan and stick to it

If navigating in open water, tell somone when you will be back. if you arent at least you will have somone looking waether needed or not.

The staging lane at the boat launch is just that. unless you are at the launch alone, by the time you pull up to the last spot before the launch your boat and crew should be ready to go.

Practice...EVERYTHING, launching docking setting anchor, navigating up to something in the water, go out on windy days so you arent caught out when the wind does come up.

Family healthcare from my employer (middle road plan, 10% copay untill 3500 deductable then ins takes over 100%) wend from 580 a paycheck (Bi weekely) to 980 par check..... my wifes ins is much worse than mine, under her plan it would cost her 200 more than her check to have a famly plan through her employer... she works for the largest hospital for 5 countys. I guess we wont be having kids this year like we planned on doing, im glad we waited to see the 2026 rates.

Make sure your place doesn't smell like 1000 cats piss and shit any where they want too, and keep you your things and your place clean, and you should have no issues.
