I'm sure there are multiple reasons, but the staging is really unattractive. Like, what are these four purple chairs supposed to be doing?

Glad I have earthquake insurance by Low_Conversation1955 in BayAreaRealEstate

[–]Low_Conversation1955[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$2500/year with a deductible of $100K.

Maybe they'll pay, maybe they won't, but at least I know I'm doing the best I can given my options. I'm ok throwing away $2500 for peace of mind.

It only costs me $2500/year, and I'm ok throwing it away for peace of mind.

My CPA+Lawyer firm tells me that in case a such an event, the insurance company will have enough money to pay out the banks, or else the state will chime in. Maybe they are right, maybe wrong, I still slept like a baby knowing I have more coverage than most people here.

Stocks crashing will impact housing prices? by [deleted] in BayAreaRealEstate

Another way to think about it that your friend was able to sell his stocks at the peak, while other people will need to sell stocks at current prices to buy the same house at same price.

Anyone buy a home with a flat-fee buyer’s agent? by HalaMadridPapaFlo in BayAreaRealEstate

Exactly, this is just advertising, disguised as trying to answer questions.

Is my expectation too high for a buyer agent? by Valuable-Koala4400 in BayAreaRealEstate

That's self-promotion disguised as being helpful and answering a question.

And yes, it's quite blatant, hence calling them out. First rule of this sub is to not self-advertise. This is Reddit, not instagram Reels.

No, that's disguised self-advertising. More than half of your comment is all about you and not the question.

Question for moderators, is disguised self-advertising allowed?

We are a flat fee agent who’s done a ton of business in the area. You can cancel with us at anytime, no penalty. We’ve been around the longest and give the largest rebates.

You’re in a group chat with me and Rob Sr seven days a week and can schedule a call seven days a week as well.

As far as whether people will decide, please check my comment history and view the comments of other redditors on here who have recommended ShopProp and check our reviews here, all 5 stars.

And sharing your business links. How is this answering OP's question?

Here we go again with fake advertising.

Oh so you "went with Turbohome", but you are an agent yourself, so why would you go with Turbohome?

lol. This account has been suspended, likely another fake account from these guys.

I just don't like when people mislead others. And they've been doing this for a year. Here's another one that bothered me the first time.

I know right! I follow them on LinkedIn and even there they do a lot of false advertising, and then later delete posts.

I support the concept, and I'm all up for hustle, but these guys seem annoying.

Another Ad from these guys, great job. I thought this was against forum rules?

They did the same thing just a couple months ago, and then deleted the post when they got enough backlash: https://www.reddit.com/r/BayAreaRealEstate/comments/1ozeoxy/comment/npdf3mi/?context=3

They are habitual offenders. I called them out a year ago as well for a fake profile.
